I got this frother because it was very inexpensive and more specifically because it's not the rechargeable kind. The last frother I bought was USB-rechargeable and much more expensive, but that one failed in a scary way when it refused to turn off. I was forced to put it in a safe area outside the house until the battery ran itself out so it wouldn't start a fire or cause an accident.Needless to say, I'm done with rechargeable things like that, that aren't safe when they malfunction!Anyway, this frother is all very lightweight plastic through and through, except for the metal frothing attachment. The stirring/blending attachment is plastic too. It feels somewhat cheap, but when I found a couple of fresh AA's to power it up, it worked like a charm. Not wobbly, not overheaty, and you don't have to have a college degree to use it.It has one speed, and one button. Push button ON, push button again OFF. NICE! The handle has a good grip surface, and that really helps both with using it firmly and also so it won't slide out of my hand like the heavier metal ones want to.At about $7 when I ordered, this is a very good value for what you get. It's not fancy at all, it does the job just as well as the expensive ones, and you won't be devastated if you drop it and break the plastic because it's inexpensive enough to buy another and you don't have to worry about making a special effort to dispose of it in hazardous waste because it doesn't have rechargeable lithium batteries. Just pop your AA's out of the thing and get another!I'm so happy with this frother, I bought another for my son.Of course it's still new so I can't rate it with the full monty of 5 stars, but my first impression is definitely that good. I'll rate it 4 stars, which is the highest I go for anything like this when it hasn't been put through the paces of time & use to earn a perfect title.If any unforeseen issues come up that give me reason to change my review, I'll come back here to update. I can't imagine anything like that at this point. It'll pay for itself if it makes it through 6 months of use! :)

Has good force to it so it froths pretty quickly. The design of it unfortunately doesn't make it convenient in order to lay either upright or come with a piece to lay it flatly on its side. Otherwise, been using it to froth my coffee cream and I like how its coming out.

I use this to mix my greens drink every day. It blends very well and has a powerful speed. Durable little mixer at an affordable price. I’ve had it for a week and so far it’s working great and it’s easy to clean.
