I HAD, like 3 measuring tapes, and got annoyed every time I used any of them. So got this Milwaukee one and the others are in the trash. My hubby is a little jealous, so guess I'll get him his own.

I've "lost" dozens of tape measures over the years. Some I know have become someone else's tape measure. I rarely see one made by Milwaukee. I'm the only one who has one that I work with so I'm hoping to keep this one for a while.

I am both a Ridgid and Milwaukee tool fan. This Milwaukee tape measure confirms my confidence in Milwaukee tools. It is a really solidly built measure that is extremely easy to handle. It is made in Vietnam, and, frankly, if these companies are not having their products made in the US, I prefer their being made in such places as Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, or Hong Kong where the quality controls are excellent and far exceed those found in China.
