This saw is so awesome, easy to handle, plenty of power and my Makita battery lasts a long time. Great for pruning the bigger branches on my apple trees.

Wasn't sure what to expect here. It works fantastic! Cuts like hot knife through butter....as long as the battery is fully charged! I goofed and tried to use an almost dead battery, no dice. I thought it was the saw until I realized the battery was the problem. I only use the 8 inch bar, not sure why there's a 6 inch?

Where I live in hilly Western Mass on dirt roads, a tree could be down after a storm. Having this saw in the car allows for a quick response and element of safety in such an emergency. This is much easier to use than my Makita 18V chainsaw for pruning smaller branches and removing small trees.

This mini chainsaw works great. It's a little tedious holding the safety switch and the trigger at the same time, but it does a great job.

I wanted a small powersaw and my husband said no to a gas saw. I saw this one on Amazon. I thought for the price I couldn’t go wrong. I love this little saw. It cuts great, is easy to use, battery lasts long and the price was great. If this one ever dies I will buy another one. Makita is a great name which this saw sure delivers. Fantastic product

Like the quality of build, worked as advertised, really makes yard trimming a breeze and saving my chain saw for the heavy duty work, Wish there was a auto lock on option.
