Motor started smoking after 5 minutes, threw it directly in the bin after emptying all the chocolate out of it we just put in it.... Waste of money.

I feel like any fountain of anything can be a hit or a miss, especially with fondue. This was a nice "starter" fountain, it started off bad when I couldn't even get the tray that is supposed to go on the bottom would not fit or click into place to stay on the bottom, had to toss that to the side. The next part is the fountain got so hot at first then it cooled and never really worked after that. We got a once time use and even after that I was not a huge fan.It burnt my chocolate in areas with others not even melted rather than keep it smooth running and warm, did not even do anything with cheese but again I think it was done for after the first use. I would highly recommend just getting a fondue pot and just leave the chocolate fountain/cheese dream in the past and just get a nice heated pot. Unfortunately I would pass on this fountain.
