We used this to replace a broken thermostat in a Frigidaire mini fridge and it worked like a charm. The price is good and it beats spending $150 on a new mini fridge.

I purchased this to replace the one in my MagicChef wine cooler which failed. It bolted up similar to the original thermostat and no modifications needed mechanically to install it. The electrical tabs were smaller than the original, but I made it work. The thermal pipe on it is shorter than the one that I removed, so I needed to improvise. The knob flat for the temperature dial was 180 degrees off from the one I removed so I also needed to improvise. This unit runs the cooler a bit colder than the old one, so I needed to set temperature higher. Technically, the thermostat works, does the job, and was a good cost , so I am happy about that, however, it is definitely not universal.

I installed thinking it would be good then for the next week I tried all the set points would put a glass with water in it inside. Everyday I checked it was frozen solid then I noticed it never shuts off
