This paddle has helped me gain confidence in sending well-timed CW. I tried to use a straight key to send CW and realized I need more practice in getting my timing correct. When this is combined with my Icom 7300's keyer I can make sending a breeze. The grub screws help to make the keys as loose or tight as you want, so you can make it very responsive to your keying style. Using the reverse switch can be tricky as it's a small switch. The fit and finish of the key is nice as well, it's well-polished and smooth. The magnets also keep your key right where you want it and are very strong.One downside is that you need a 1/4" adapter for the Icom 7300 if you use the supplied 3.5mm stereo jack cable. That's negligible compared to having a nicely-built iambic paddle for your radio. It's a solid buy for anyone wanting to learn CW operation.

Especially given that it is a mini-key, and the price, this is a great paddle. It comes with the tools needed to adjust it, which takes only a couple of minutes -- and you are off to the races. This key is snappy and precise.It comes with magnets that should be attached to something fairly heavy so the key doesn't move around. How heavy the block needs to be depends on how you have it adjusted and your sending style. I can get away with about a pound, but I would expect most people would need a couple of pounds.This is a really nice and well featured key particularly for the price point and I recommend it.

This was my first key purchased from PUTIKE. I like it very much, and it is a great value for the money. I especially like the magnets, which hold the key very sturdy when operating portable. I wish all their keys had magnets.

I'm getting back into ham radio after 50 years away, and needed a key since CW is my favorite mode. All available keys seemed overpriced to me, but the lowest-cost ones looked flimsy to me. This was among the lower-to-medium cost ones and looked solid and substantial. It turned out to be just that. It's working well for me. While adjustments are possible, I use it as it came right out of the box and haven't had to change anything. I'm pleased with this purchase.

This is a nice key for portable CW work. Works well but a little hard to adjust, but, not that hard. The key has 3 magnets on the bottom. I purchased this and the metal pad from the same company and the added weight and surface area keeps the key stable. You could put it on top of the radio chassis (if metal) or turn it upside down and mount it on the bottom or the radio (if the radio has a pull down stand). If turned upside down there is a switch on the key that changes the paddles so that it operates like it would right side up. I have 2 Vibroplex keys and use them with my base station. But this is perfect for portable operation. Really nice key.

It took a month to finish get this delivered, but it was worth the wait. Solid feel and well constructed. Adjustable paddles and comes with necessary tools to adjust (allen wrench and wrench to tighten/loosen nut). Also comes with a nice cable. I got it in red color which I like. I did give it a try when I adjusted the paddles and it has a nice feel. And the magnets hold it tightly to the top of my rig. I am a little worried that it might scratch it though. Overall, I'm please with the purchase.

These are great paddles for portable of mobile operation. They are adjustable for spacing and have strong magnets on the base that really stay put on a metal surface. They also have a polarity switch to which makes it easy to set for your radio. Not the smoothest but adequate for field use.
