The peddles stop going up and down. Tried to reach out to the company with no luck.I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to anyone who uses it on a daily basis as it won't last.

Overall, it’s a cool bargain. I get a low impact exercise that feels great on my knees after a long day of driving at work. It’s small and portable, not heavy at all (to me).I have a couple of caveats, though:1) no rubber stoppers under the pedals. They will clank against the lower chassis, which opens the door for early wear dents.2) pedals too close together. Your inner legs will rub against the central column, placing the unaware at risk of injury (see photo). If you have really big legs, this stepper will NOT work! Go for a bigger stepper! I’m skinny, and I have to push my knees out a little to keep from rubbing them against the handles!
