I have a nice set of AKG headphones that have a tremendously long wire. When I'm really interested in hearing the music as it was played I use the wire, for the day-to-day use, the Bluetooth adapter works fantastic. It connects to my computer every time and the charge seems to last for longer than any session I've had. It's lightweight and barely noticeable. So far so good!

Really happy with this! It does exactly what it’s meant to do and seems well-made. There are a few minor tweaks that could improve it, but overall, it gets the job done nicely. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something similar. Four stars!

This is a really awesome idea, but I wish it was a little more thought out. This receiver has allowed me to use my AKG K240s headphones with a bluetooth connection on my PC. The sound quality is AWESOME, and now NO CHORD! But there's some problems. The receiver doesn't face forward, it faces backwards, which can hit my shoulder or back of my seat, which is very annoying... and the mic is basically not functional at all in my unit.If you could grab the unit and rotate it near the mini-xlr connector I think this would fix a lot of problems, but It's one solid piece of plastic, so if you try that you will damage your headphones, or break this little unit.

This bluetooth adapter for my AKG K712's is surprisingly fantastic! It arrives with the bluetooth adapter, instructions, and a USB-A to micro USB (terrible) charging cable. The adapter is very simple to use, all you have to do is make sure the adapter is fully charged which when plugged in, shows a blue light on the side to show that it is fully charged and red to show it's charging. Then plug it into your headphones, push the button on the side of the adapter to start it pairing, and then connect it via bluetooth to whatever you want. It really is that simple, which I was shocked over.I am using this with my PC and it produces great sound. Not the top quality that I get when using it via the wired connection to my Yamaha unit but still great sound that allows me to move around without a wire.Overall, this is a great bluetooth adapter for my AKG headphones. I don't like how you can't rotate the dongle but at least on my pair of headphones, it's pointing towards the back of me instead of out to the side. It's extremely easy to set up and does sound surprisingly great. There is a slight delay of a few milliseconds between seeing and hearing what is shown on screen but for the portability it gives my headphones, it's worth it to me for non-sensitive work.

I'm using this with AKG K7XX headphones (similar to the K701 and K702). No issues hooking it up to the headphones. No issues pairing the bluetooth to my laptop. No issues with A/V sync. Range is around average for wireless headsets (not good or bad, just average). Sound quality is good. It'll never be as good as being wired in but that's a trade-off you have to make (at least until BT LE Audio gains more traction). The audio balance is good by default (I often have to adjust it but this seemed about right to me), the stereo separation is spot-on good. It claims to do some sort of bass boost but it must be pretty subtle if it's there (not a bad thing, I'm not a bass-head). Battery life is good. I listened to music for a solid 4 hours and the battery level was still reporting 90% in Windows. I suspect that will drop off pretty quick over the next few hours of use but 4 comfortable hours is well within expectations of their claims. I'll do some testing with my DT 177X GO and I'll update this review. Based on the K7XX, and easy recommendation for untethered listening.EDIT: Alas, this isn't compatible with my DT 177X Go, as that set of headphones uses a 4-pin version of the connector and this adapter uses a 3-pin connector in the same form factor. So, I have to stick by my review based on how well the adapter did with my K7XX.

The BT connection is shaky and unstable. The sound quality is terrible compared to cable.Plus the connector cannot be rotated so on my particular phones it aimed outwards.

Sounds good, can drive my AKGs well for a tiny little thing.Microphone quality not great, but in this package, not unexpected.

I love stuff like this that is both HYPER SPECIFIC and pretty good value. I'm using it for studio work scenarios and in closed office, and lossless is probably helping, but I basically haven't been able to hear much of a difference between BT and wired for MOST use cases. Occasionally I'll find the mic isn't as good as the line in mic I have for the cabled application, but for listening wirelessly, it's a peach.
