This is a good little bowl for small shrimp, like Neocaridina or amphipods. The box says "Betta House Double." If you remove the divider, I think it would be OK for one betta, but please don't use it for two. I know that some people would and the fish might survive for a while; but nothing, not even a betta, actually wants to live life in a tiny jail cell. And please do not use a bowl this small for goldfish - not even one goldfish. They need a lot of space.For the right use this is nice. It has an attractive shape, and is made of very clear acrylic. It has a divider and a raised screen off the floor. There is a little hole in the bottom with a plug that they recommend using for cleaning. I would rather that not be there and I will take water out of the top. If that ever leaks and you don't notice, your poor shrimp won't make it. However that it just speculation - mine shows no sign of leaking.It comes with two plastic plants that connect to tabs on the bottom.Again, this is a nice tiny tank for little shrimp or something that requires very little space. If the listing and the box did not promote it for multiple bettas or goldfish, I might give it five stars.
