I use this in my bedroom to keep my plants happy. This thing has been perfect. The main thing I like is that it's not ultrasonic which can send all types of dangerous minerals and bacteria into your lungs. The washable filter is high quality and a huge game changer.I think this company should make a much larger humidifier for whole house use and they would make so much money. Evaporative is the healthiest way to go. But there needs to be larger options

The Provirtec MistFree Smart Humidifier is a fantastic addition to any bedroom, especially for those concerned about white dust. The evaporative technology ensures clean humidification, and the automatic humidity control, along with app connectivity, offers convenient and personalized settings. The 3L water tank provides a good runtime, and the easy-to-clean design is a significant plus. Features like sleep mode and timing make it even more user-friendly, making it a great choice for creating a comfortable environment, even for babies.

So far this is working well. The white dust is virtually non existent compared to the Honeywell I have. My entire apartment has a sticky white residue over all surfaces from the Honeywell. This one is great, no white dust to speak of. So far I like it. I run this 24-7 and I only had to fill the tank once for an entire week. It keeps the humidity at a good 50% as I have nose bleeds so this helps a lot.

Love this humidifier. Love the washable filters. Through research I learned to not expect an evaporative humidifier to behave quite like non evaporative humidifiers. My 14 x 16 size spare bedroom with plants with the door closed unit functions well in holding the humidity levels in the 50-65%. In the winter on extremely cold days with hot air gas heater running the unit struggles a little but that’s ok. What I don’t like is product doesn’t play nice with Apple products. Every 2 weeks I have to write down my 13 digit password to log into the app which defeats the purpose of security. Customer service glosses over the situation.

It works fine operating, keeps the humidity around ~30% for my bedroom. And the best thing is that you don't have to worry about purified water, filtered tap water will do.However, to pair it with the hygrometer, you must download the app, create an account and set this thing up with WiFi, and finally pair it with Bluetooth. Which is hell of a hassle and I can't think of any necessities for it to work this far just to do one simple task. It sure helpful for people who want to turn it on/off with automations, but I'd just pass on this one and leave it up all the time.

First off, I actually paid for this—unlike most of the "Vine reviews" you see here. After tons of research, I decided to switch from mist humidifiers (which I was sick of constantly cleaning to prevent that nasty pink slime) to a low-maintenance evaporative humidifier.I tested this alongside a $189 Levoit evaporative humidifier, and let’s just say… this is basically a $79 "swamp cooler." It’s like sticking a fan over a bucket of water—nothing more. The Levoit has two proper filters with air blowing through them, while this one just blows air over a damp cloth. What’s the point?A few major issues:Tiny water tank – Needs refilling twice a day on medium.Weak performance – After two days, my room’s humidity went from 47% to just 50% (doors closed). The Levoit? from 43 to 60% in 24 hours.LOUD on high – Sounds like an old garage fan from the ‘90s.Doubtful UV feature – No visible light, so who knows if it’s actually doing anything?Flimsy "filter" – Just foam with mesh like fiber wrapped around—not a real wicker mesh I expected. It’s pretty, and it technically works, but honestly? You’d get the same effect by putting a bowl of water next to a fan. I tested it so you don’t have to!

We are really pleased so far. Although it’s not silent, we enjoy the subtle sound, almost like a white noise machine. I’ve noticed a difference in our sleep. Typically my nose is dried and cracked, living in Arizona will do that- however it has not been cracked since using this machine. I feel that the price was on point compared to similar items. It works well for the master bedroom and keeps up the humidity even with the door cracked. The water capacity lasts for two days. The size of the master bedroom is approximately 12ft x 12ft. It’s a large bedroom with a bathroom. Although the machine is small, it is sleek and mighty. It’s a nice looking unit with an LED screen. Fits nicely on the bedside table.

I ordered this smart humidifier for my daughter's bedroom to ensure she has a better sleep at night without any issues such as itchy eyes or dry throats. So when I saw this Provirtec Mist free smart humidifier available, I ordered it right away for her room, and so far it's been working as amazing as it described (we are very impressed and happy about it)! This mist free smart humidifier is made in amazing quality and top notch craftsmanship. The whole machine is sturdily built and the design looks nice in the room. Following the instruction manual, I carefully setup everything including washing all parts with cold water and align the top and bottom part together... the whole process went smoothly as expected. The package also came with a smart thermo-hygrometer (3 AA+ batteries also included), which helps to better detect and monitor the actual real humidity in the room (for better accuracy). To ensure everything works well together, 2.4hz wifi connection is required for proper pairing up both the smart humidifier and smart thermo-hygrometer together. The functions can be easily controlled via the downloadable mobile app. This includes fans speed, humidity level, atmosphere lights (7 colours to choose from) and automatic setting options. The only thing I would suggest is that the temperature is auto set to Fahrenheit, and in Canada we use celsius.... so for the first time I have to convert to understand the temperature better, but doesn't bother me too much. The filter is machine washable and can use over and over again. Also, after running for sometimes we did not notice any white dust at all - amazing!Overall, this is a really amazing smart humidifier for home. I do happily recommend to everyone! :)

I never write reviews, and as someone who has an engineering background, this is an amazing product that does exactly what it is supposed to do, with extra features. The humidity immediately goes up when I turn it on, and I confirmed the % levels are accurate with two different higher-end air quality monitors. The wireless connectivity surprisingly works well over public WiFi (just put a zero or multiple zeros for the password and it will work)! The UV light, and the filter are great. The filter is easy to wash and I flip it over so all the trapped bacteria / powder do not accumulate on one side each time. Since it functions like a fancy swamp cooler, you need to have your space closed up so the humidity is trapped in the room. If you leave a window or door open that leads to a larger open space, then it will not work as well which is what I saw someone write about. There is a fundamental difference between an evaporative and ultrasonic humidifier. An ultrasonic humidifier adds moisture to the area radius surrounding the humidifier but only to that area, which is why it works well in an open space but only if the humidifier is near you, the further you are from the humidifier, the weaker the humidifying effect. With an evaporative humidifier, it brings up the humidity by taking in air and pushing out naturally humidified air around the entire room, so the humidity levels are equalized everywhere throughout the space. However, it will not work well or at all when the humidified air can escape from the room. In sum, huge/open spaces will work best close-by with an ultrasonic humidifier with a filtering system. Closed spaces of any size and needing equalized humidity levels will work best with an evaporative humidifier (that’s why most buildings have evaporative-based HVAC systems). The only real issue most people are complaining about is this feels more like a final prototype of a finished product. There were some bugs with the app initially but everything has worked flawlessly. I bought another one for a gift and hope they fix the issue and relaunch this product. The panel on the top is a little flimsy and you have to be delicate with the top part that contains the fan and electronics. The tank part is a separate piece and easy to wash as well.
