It's big and a little heavy. A few sharp frets, easily fixed. Flat neck, reasonably low action, intonation: two strings are a little out, not much. Finish overall is good. Close examination reveals some tiny flaws, not many and hard to find. Tuners are perfectly serviceable. Strings were OK, but I always swap them out after a few minutes to something nice. For whatever reason, this guitar sounds really nice. The neck is narrowish, but not too much, feels very natural. The guitar exceeds my expectations considerably. There is also a version without the pickup, which is quite a bit less. Monoprice usually does a very nice job, but the guitar I received is even better than usual :) I have to pinch myself!

These guitars are amazing for the price. Solid top with a neck that you would expect in a much higher priced guitar. Switched out the plastic nut and saddle with stock bone that I purchased from Amazon. The action was already low so I lowered it as bit more without getting any fret buzz. The sound and playability are not what you would expect at this price. I purchased the non electric version with a mat finish also lowering the action on replacing the nut and saddle with bone. The non Takamine Jasmine is a toy compared to this guitar.
