BASIC INFORMATION
Keyed Entry Function-with Lock and Keys
Typically use on front and entrance doors and other doors you need security.
Both sides of the door can be locked. The inner side can be unlocked by turning a button, while the outer side requires a key for unlocking.
Privacy Function-Without Keys
Typically use on bathroom and bedroom doors and other doors you need privacy.
Locked by turning a button inside and can be unlocked in emergencies from outside by turning the slotted button using a coin.
Passage Function-Without Lock
Typically used on closet, hallway and other doors that you want to latch but do not lock.
There is no door lock on either side of the door lever, serving as a barrier.

It's really nice, we put it on the door from the garage into the house. It feels sturdy and matches our other gold-ish hardware. I think it is a slightly lighter gold tone than some other ones but I still like it. No too difficult to install. It is inexpensive but doesn't look cheap.

I got this to replace my son's broken door lever and it was easy to install and works as expected. The only thing I don't like is due to the squareness of the door lever you can see the round portion on the face of the base. Other than that it works well.

I really like the style of this modern door handle. It has quite some heft and seems to be fairly heavy duty.I was hoping to have this keyed differently so that I would not have to use a separate key for it, however, the locking Tumblr mechanism is not easy to extract or change out because it’s dimensions are rather proprietary and it’s not easily swapped out with different tumbling mechanisms. This could be a benefit if you are concerned about security, but a pain if you want to match your other door locks

This is a lovely replacement handle for a door knob that had worn out. It was easy to install and looks really nice on my bedroom door.

It looked great but I had to buy another similar one from the Home Depot the next day as this one literally fell apart. The cylinder turned completely around in a full circle and fell out, but not before the locking switch refused to turn. So the 50% discount really wasnt worth the delay in my project. I'll be retuning it shortly. Thanks for the reminder.

I ordered both a privacy and passage door lock and, other than the locking mechanism, they are identical.These could look good in about any more contemporary, modern house. The combination of size and satin brass is striking.I weighed the passage door and it was 1 lb, 10 oz -pretty heavy. In my opinion, these door knobs are a step above your common home-center door knob. The levers are 5" long and made from a very solid metal, with a "beefy" spring as well, again, this looks like it is made to last.I can't speak to the longevity of the satin brass coating, since I just got them, but the overall high quality of the components and appearance would lead me to believe that they will look good for a long time.
