This does the opposite of what you'd want it to do if you want to use it as a momentary kill switch on a guitar. Off the bar it kills the connection. To reconnect the circuit you need to push the button forward and it does not stay forward without holding it.

This switch should only be able to be set up one way. The fact that if you wire it like any normal switch where the hot goes to one terminal and the switch to another this terminal is momentary off not on. This has to be the dumbest thing ever. No one wants momentary off for anything they are running power to. Would never by this product again. At least put some instructions to wire it momentary on which is what anyone buying this wants it for.

Can't leave the page without a written review. So the page blows but the switch is ok!

It was exactly what I needed a rugged switch for my truck. It fits well and was easy to install.

Terminal screws are very small and hard to hold to install. Also they were loose in the box on arrival. Could have vibrated out in shipping, but likely poured into box loose. I did still find all of them..

I have Honda CRV that I thought the ignition switch was not engaging the engine very well. So I purchased it as a way to engage the starter to start the car. I installed the switch and was running wires to starter when I discovered the battery cable on the starter the nut was lose. I knew then what the problem was. since I already had ran the wires I hooked it up as a back up starter switch just in-case. I need to fire the guy who installed the starter a few years ago. Only trouble hard to fire myself. But the switch works fine.

I bought this to control the firing circuit on a laser cutter I'm upgrading with new controls. The standard size fits the red flip top covers for that '80s military movie look. The action is very snappy and the spring is strong, maybe even too strong. I might need to reinforce the panel I'm installing this in. The momentary operation is nice because now I don't need to shut the lid every time I want to switch off the laser; just let go instead.
