As other reviewers have noted, I had to lean (water down) the mortar mix, until it was near soup, to get it to flow through any nozzle consistently. Came with zero directions or tips to improve a weak products' performance. Lots of nozzle choices, but none produced any consistent application results Tilting it at an angle is crucial, as it lost suction regularly if I didn't continue to dig the nose deeper into the mortar soup mix. That, then, creates air pockets, of which blew the mortar out stronger than I wanted. Lots of inconsistent beads of mortar, rather than an consistent ribbon of it. Cleaning it should have been easy. The nozzle became frozen on the units' body, and I still can't get it off. Lots of "partial" full canisters, due to the above, causing just too many trips to refill it again. The handle just doesn't create enough power to force normal consistency mortar through it. This is not commercial/industrial strength; perhaps better suited to bug spray your tomato plants. Well marketed, but fell short for me of being a tool I really need for a lot of mortar work. Looks good, but appears to be a cheap knock-off, more of a toy than a tool. Can't recommend this other than to recommend you not buy it.

Keep lubricated. works great for small jobs. Takes too long to reload. I had 1/2" space between bricks to fill with spec mix (type S). Worked great but had to reload too many times. Used vaseline as a lub for the tube and plunger.

I used this to fill little holes in my house foundation. Works pretty good.

Tried using this for 1/2" grout. Ended up going back to the bag method. It may work for other applications but I had to thin grout in order to suck it into container. Application tips are pretty wide so was still more work after the fact to work grout into the seams.

Worked with very wet mud. Almost takes two people to push out mortar.

I really didn't expect much from this no name brand tool but it actually worked great for my needs. I needed to fill some concrete blocks in a wall to make reinforce them. I drilled a 1 inch hole in the top and used this to inject the cement into the block. I used non shrink grout which is very liquidy and this tool worked great. I have only used it once so I can't speak for it's longevity but for the price it's still worth it even if it doesn't last forever.

This is amazing!!! Keep making them! Great for masons looking to fill tiny nooks and crannies with a more liquid mortar consistency. They should make attachment nozzles with a hose attachment to get into hard to reach areas.
