I was really pleasantly surprised by these - I've used bamboo charcoal bags from various other brands over the years and these were about 2x the price, but you do get what you pay for. They worked right away, 3 in a musty walk in closet that got rid of the smell within a few hours even when the clothes are tightly packed together. I'm really impressed and will be buying more.

I bought it to remove paint smell from my closet...after one month of use the smell is still there.Even after activating in the sun...nothing happened.

I had high hopes for this product, but it didn't work as I thought. By the way, those reviewers that said the instructions said to put in the sun for a few hours before using, there are no such instructions on these packages. Just to be sure, I did put them in the sun before I used them. I expected a quicker result. After a lot of rain, one of my rooms that I use as an office smelled very musty and damp. Not sure the product helped or if it was because it stopped raining for a few days. I bought a 5 pack, so I will try another one in my closet and see if it works any better.

We moved into a home that had been occupied by a smoker. We did some remodeling and ordered these to help eliminate the odor. After two months, everything smells so much better. I would definitely recommend these.
