Although we've had this for some time, we still haven't been able to go anywhere that this has been used. It does fit hubby's 2007 Nissan and looks well for stitching and such.

I searched for a luggage carrier to fit the top of my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. This carrier was in the search results. We just put it on the van two days ago for our move from NC to NM. It was filled with sheets, blankets, pillows and two duffle bags full of clothes. When we went to install it, it did NOT fit the cargo rails. It is too long. Since we had to start our trip, I decided to bungee it across the top, because, not only was it too long, but the straps were flimsy. We made it 300 miles and the carrier ripped from the roof, sailing across 4 lanes of traffic, off of an overpass and down onto the highway below. It's pure luck it didn't cause an accident. Well, now we're out the money for the carrier, sheets, blankets, pillows, and the clothes we had packed for the eight day trip cross country. Of course nothing will be done about this. I can't even get a refund for the stupid carrier because, for all I know, it's still flying across Tennessee.Do NOT buy this carrier for a Chrysler Pacifica!

We used this to travel down to Florida and though it held up, there were a couple of issues. First, the straps will come undone if you do not tie them off. The buckle doesn’t hold the tension very well. Second, the zippers will open even if you zip tie them. It rained on our way down and some items did get wet due to the zipper opening about 2-3 inches.

Pros: massive capacity, easy to install or remove, multiple anchor pointsCons: flops around unless absolutely full, not at all water tight (your stuff will be soaked/ruined), loose end of straps flop around and make noise while driving

I used this on a trip from Pennsylvania to Maine through a thunderstorm the entire time. Most of my cargo was dry but I did notice some minor leakage through the zipper itself. Overall it does the job. Next time I would put another layer of waterproof (trash bag or tarp) around the inside of the zipper to prevent seepage.

Just drove nearly 900 miles & this has held up great only issue we had was the straps blowing in the wind & after taping them together the noise stopped didn’t have any issues other than that.. the straps didn’t move it’s very big & sturdy. We packed a double stroller in it, a bag & also a pack n play fit all of it perfectly. Would highly recommend this for the price!
