I'm 6' 3" and the platform is too narrow for my feet to be placed in a natural position. I tried to make it work but my legs would lean outward which caused pain in both knees after only a short time. I even went so far as to tie one of those large rubber bands used for exercise around my legs to try and keep them together but this was tedious and not completely effective. The other problem is that if the platform is going up and down, it should also tilt, which it doesn't, and it would also be nice if it had a raised edge on the heel side, or the ability to flip one up so you really felt like you could relax your legs instead of feeling like you need to focus on keeping them perched on the thing. Unless you're a smaller person and only plan to use this occasionally for short periods of time, I don't really see this doing the job. I got the product in hopes it could improve circulation issues since I work from home at a desk. Now I'm thinking I will have to build something custom.

I got this to give me somewhere to put my feet (imagine that). I wanted something that was raised to allow for a set of pedals for my racing wheel without having to sacrifice one for the other. Plus, I liked that this was made of solid metal. So far, so good. I'm a big guy so I have to be a bit careful with when I want to pull myself closer to my desk because this thing has a 55 lb. weight limit and I think my legs together barely stay under that limit. It can also be a bit tipsy if you aren't distributing weight equally on either side or are otherwise outside of the middle of the footrest.Assembly was easy, no tools required, and it was good to go. The surface of the rest does have a sort of felt-like material on it but if you have a decent vacuum with an attachment for rugs and the like, it should be able to collect dust/dirt/pet hair easily enough.

Very impressed with the foot rest. It's larger, can be adjusted to a quite high height, and is very solid and stable.Assembly is easy. The vertical piece slots into the base. And then the foot rest hooks into whatever position you want. The way it's designed, you can also place your feet to either side of the vertical piece, which effectively gives you an even larger footrest.Recommended, particularly if you need a larger height footrest!

The first one I received was defective (holes were not in the correct location) but easy return and the second one I received worked as intended. It’s a sturdy little stool and easy to move. I wish it were wider for when I am in a seated position as it is uncomfortable after a while to keep my feet that close together. It is not as wide as a typical ergonomic foot stool. Works great for a foot rest when standing.

I was skeptical based on how this product looked in pictures, but I'm glad I took a chance on it because it's great. The high marks it gets are well-deserved: this thing is way sturdier than I thought it would be and is made of steel, so it's got some serious heft to it. I lean on and fidget with my footrests throughout the day and I haven't bent it yet. I was able to easily figure out the the right height to set it to, and it's very easy to adjust. The height is adjustable by inches, and the deck is slightly slanted. There are rubber feet on the front of the legs that prevent it from sliding around under my desk, and a foam handle on the unit (in case you want to tote it around to use in different places I guess). The black felt on the deck does collect lint-y debris (pet hair, anyone?), but it's easily removed with a lint roller/brush or even just by dragging your sneaker bottom over it once or twice. The deck may seem a little small for people with very long feet. One of the images I'm including has my ladies' size 8.5 sneaker on the stand to give you an idea of the scale. If you're a super-fidget you might accidentally lift up the deck a little while you wiggle, but I have yet to actually dislodge it from the stand. And the only other downside I have, which definitely won't be everyone's issue, is that the stand doesn't quite fit under the shelf below my desk; I've got a standup riser, though, which I can pull out so the keyboard tray hangs over the edge of the desk, and that compensates for it perfectly. The only thing I wish is that they made one that would span the distance under my desk, but I could also just buy a second one!!All in all, this is a great footrest, and I'd buy it again for sure.

This is a one of a kind foot support and believe me, I've tested out a number of them. This is sturdy, well made, and looks and feels like a high quality product. It's hard to find a good quality product these days and this is definitely that. The height is adjustable and it's very neat looking and perfect for my office.

It's heavy duty and won't slide around. I can reach out with my foot and pull the chair under the desk. It's very easy to adjust and the top has a grip to it, so your feet don't slide around. Great product.

This is a very strudy, well made, foot rest. Feels high end. Similar stools are $100+ at other stores so I was happy to find this price and ordered it right away - Then i saw it for less than a 3rd of the Amazon price at another store. ugh

Can adjust easily to the height I want - something most other under table footrests do not
