This little MUFASHA Laser High Temp Infrared Temperature Gun with LCD Display is really nice!I got this so I could check the pizza stone in my pizza oven to know when it is ready to rip. So this temp gun is only being used in a kitchen setting for me. But it is working great!It is easy to use and reads temps quickly. The hold feature is nice so that I can point and shoot, then look at it afterwards.Overall this little temp gun has been super handy and I'm very happy with it!

The product pictures for this are entirely accurate for a change - you get exactly what's in the images, down to the bag and batteries. It's a sturdy little thermometer, seems well built with care for quality, and seems like it will hold up well over time. The only thing I didn't notice when purchasing is it only reads up to 750 degrees or so, so keep that in mind if you need it for metallurgy purposes or the like. That said, it's a handy little thing to have in your bag if you want to see if something's too hot to touch. Well priced, too.

For starters it is 10 bucks! So yes it is going to be made of cheap plastic and it might not be as accurate as some of the more expensive units. That said it is pretty close to the more expensive units. Mine was high by 7 degrees over the 25 dollar unit. The beep can be annoying but it's not a deal breaker. The screen is easy to read indoors. Overall, for the cost, i am happy with it.

I use this for being able to warm water to use with bread making (as if the water is too hot then it will kill the yeast but too cold slows down the yeast doing its thing). I also use it for other cooking like when melting sweetener to make non sugar jams. When testing I found the device to be within 5% of the actual temperature which is close enough for me and remember this is $10. If you need more accurate then you would have to pay much more. The beep can be a little on the loud side.

There's not much to this, you put the batteries in, point it at something, and squeeze the trigger. Then BAM, you have your temperature reading. You can change between C and F depending on your needs, and there's a simple memory feature, and that's about it. Its simple and effective for what it does, there is little confusion.I cannot vouch for accuracy, I have not tried another measurement to see how this compares, but it seems to be close, if not exactly accurate. It does feel very cheaply made, but given the price, I think that's fine. I ordered this for casual use, it's not going to be used in a lab. Plastic is OK.

I wish I could turn the beep off. The trigger seems odd on mine. If I don't hold it really tight it will shut off, so it sits there beeping away because I have to keep pulling the trigger. The temperature readings appear to be accurate.

It’s small, it’s light, it’s super cheap. It runs on AAAs.It definitely reads high, but not by an insane margin. For this price point, hard to ask for better precision. Registered against my soldering hot plate set to 110C. Verified with type K thermocouple at 109C. This IR gun reads 121C. I expect this error to compound at higher temps so call it 5-10% error.If you need better precision, or something that will survive some rough handling, spend some real money. If you just need a rough ballpark or a spare IR gun, this little guy fits the bill.

This temp gun works well and seems to have pretty accurate readings. I just really hate the "annoying" features that they added. First off, anytime you use it, it makes a loud and pretty annoying *beep* sound. There is no way to turn it off. The other annoying features is the on/off toggle for the laser. You can turn the laser off, but it only stays off during that one use. If you set it down for 30 seconds and then use it again, the laser is back on.Compared to the other basic temp guns I've been using, this is the most annoying/frustrating one I've ever had to use. I don't think I've ever had one that didn't have a toggle for the beep (if it even had one), on top of that this one's beeping noise is somehow more infuriating than any others I've come across, maybe because it's so loud and shrill. Also, I've never had one where the laser on/off was "temporary" meaning that I have to turn it off every single time I use it.Overall, it gets the job done and is a good price. But the features (or lack there of) are so bad that I bought a replacement (different company) the day after receiving this.
