I bought these for my daughter’s dorm and we were really impressed with the suction on these hooks. It latched on to the wall as per the directions and has a really strong hold

No suction cup only a sticky pad to put on the wall which did not hold even after sitting for 3 days before hanging anything on it. Then when I did hang a towel on it the whole thing came crashing down totally screwing up my wall. Turning the knobs made no difference. It is made of very cheap plastic which broke too when it can down
