Das ideale Fahrradschloss wäre günstig, leicht, kaum zu knacken und so lang, dass man das Fahrrad auch an Laternen usw. anschließen kann. Dass sich hier mehrere Faktoren widersprechen, ist offensichtlich. Wo können wir dieses Schloss einordnen?+ Es ist kaum zu knacken – nur mit einer Flex, da knackt man auch das beste Schloss. Ich habe mich mit einem guten 60-cm-Bolzenschneider vergeblich daran bemüht.+ Der Zahlencode ist nicht zu erfühlen, auch für Geübte.+ Es ist immerhin so lang, dass viele „Anschlussmöglichkeiten“ umschlossen werden können.o Der Preis ist mit 40 € kein Schnäppchen, aber okay.- Das Schloss steckt so fest in der Halterung, dass man richtig Kraft in den Fingern benötigt, um es herauszuziehen.- Mit 1,45 kg (nachgewogen 1440 g) ist das Schloss echter Ballast.Fazit: Für wenig mehr als 50 € bekommt man bereits Markenware, die fast nur ein Drittel wiegt. Ich empfehle als Alternative z. B. das Abus Bordo Lite. Außerdem verlangen viele Fahrradversicherungen Schlösser für min. 50 €.

I always use 2 different locks when I am locking up my bikes when out and about and usually try to use 2 different u-locks. The thing is that sometimes u-locks don't always work on what I am trying to lock up to because of their short rigid design.So I have been looking at different types of bike locks and folding locks are one option I have been considering. I came across this NDakter folding bike lock and I liked the specs, price and features so I decided to try it.Upon receiving the lock I could immediately tell it was a nice quality lock. I had checked out some of the same style of locks at the local bike shops but wasn't impressed with them. This one is much better than the other I saw.First off the metal folding bar sections are nice and heavy duty. The second thing I noticed was that the lock securely snaps into its holder (pointed out in 1 of the images I posted) so it won't come loose. Other I had seen just kind of sat in the holder but this lock actually snaps into place securely. The connections between bar sections is nice and study and not weak like others I have looked at.Setting your own combination or changing your combination is easy. All you have to do is open the lock, press the large button in on one end and hold it while setting your new combination and then you release it, it's that simple.Attaching it to your bike can be done two different ways. Either you can mount it to the standoffs on your bike (the holes you can mount water bottle cages or other accessories) or use the heavy duty straps that are included.It's nice that it gives you more flexibility than a u-lock and is much, much stronger than a cable lock. I went on a ride and locked it up to a few different things like a traditional bike rack, a metal light pole and even a small diameter tree and it works well.I would say that the added flexibility over a u-lock and being stronger than a cable lock makes this folding bike lock one to consider if you are in the market for a new bike lock.

Der 5-stellige Zahlencode bietet eine gute Sicherheit, ohne dass ich mich mit Schlüsseln herumärgern muss. Die mitgelieferte Halterung ist ein praktisches Feature für unterwegs. Auch wenn das Gewicht etwas höher ist, so scheint dies ein Kompromiss für die gebotene hohe Sicherheit zu sein. Für alle, die ihr Gefährt zuverlässig vor ungebetenen Gästen schützen wollen, könnte dieses Faltschloss eine starke und flexible Lösung sein – ein faltbarer Bodyguard für meine rollenden Untersätze!

Very solid. But this is heavy. Really heavy. I don't think I would want to use this with a normal bicycle because of the weight. Also, it has a holder that you attach to the bike. But I cant' get it out of the holder without using something to pry it out. I'm afraid to attach it to my bike and not be able to use it. So I really like the idea of it, but not the actual product.However, it may be perfect for locking my portable generator to the house.

Simple to set up and use this lock works perfectly for protecting my ebike. The lock itself is immensely thick making it impossible for it to be broken even with large bolt cutters. Comes with a carrier as well so portability is super simple. You can't put a price on security so it is more than worth the purchase! 5 stars! DiesesFaltschloss hat ein hohes Diebstahl Risiko und lässt sich an Hand der ZahlenKombination für meinen Sicherheitsbedarf individuell an meine Bedürfnisseanpassen. Ich habe die Sicherheit nach dem Wert meines E-Bikes sowie demAbstellplatz und dem Zeitraum, an dem mein Bike unbeaufsichtigt ist, gewählt.Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich für das Faltschloss von dem oben genanntenAnbieter entschieden, weil ein Dieb mit den genannten Sicherheits Werten einhohes Diebstahl Risiko vorfindet. Dieses Falltschloss aus gehärteten Kohlenstoffstahlist sicher wie Fort Knox. Dazu hat es bis zu 10000 Code Kombinationen und mit derLänge von 90 cm passt es um Laternen, dicke Bäume oder Pfosten. Da es auchnoch schnittfest, sägebeständig, sich nicht aufbohren und mit dem Hammeraufschlagen lässt, gibt ein Dieb, dem in der Regel 3 Minuten Zeit für einenVersuch bleibt, bevor er das Weite sucht, absolut keine Chance.Neben der hohen Sicherheit hat das Faltschloss ein sehr gutes Preis/LeistungVerhältnis. I love this new type of lock that you just unfold to make it work.This easy to use lock come all folded together and you can even secure it in the case to the bike so it is all in one on the bike. Then get to your destination, unfurl it and lock it up in minutes.No cable clips are going to snap this all metal sections.It comes with everything you need to connect it to your bike if that is how you want to mount it. Else, when it is folded back together, it is compact enough to just drop it in a bag and go.The nice part about this one being a combination lock is that I do not need to bring the keys with me.Love the security and the ease of use.

Very nice lock that is very heavy duty and love that it folds up into a compact shape. Comes with a bracket that attached to my bike and this was great, not rattling around of the lock as it is held very securely into the holder. Lock folds up very compact and like the big easy to turn lock mechanism. Holder comes with Ty-raps to attach to the frame of your bike. Changing the combination is not too bad as you have to hold one pin in with a tool and change the numbers. You have to squeeze the tool with your hand and hope you have decent size hands. My wife could not do it alone as her hands were not large enough to grasp the tool and change the numbers. Plates are large and the hinges swing with ease and the lock is very easy to fold up and put back into the holder. Lock is long enough to go around you bike frame and a small tree or pole. Sometimes it will take a real pull to get the lock out of the holder but worth it as it does not rattle around. Overall a good bike like.

Neben dem Schloss findet man eine Halterung im Lieferumfang, die auf zwei verschiedene Weisen am Fahrrad/Fahrzeug befestigt werden kann. Über die ebenfalls enthaltenen Metallschrauben kann der Halter an den genormten Rahmenbohrungen am Fahrrad angebracht werden, an denen auch Flaschenhalter befestigt werden. Bei anderen Montageorten (etwa an der Lenkerstange eines E-Scooters) verwendet man stattdessen die beiliegenden "Kabelbinder" und Kunststoffschrauben. In diesem Falle empfehle ich, ein Stück dünnes Gummi (z.B. von einem alten Fahrradschlauch) unterzulegen, um ein Verrutschen oder Verdrehen zu verhindern.Als Faustformel kann man vereinfachend sagen, dass die Sicherheit (meist) auch mit dem Gewicht eines Schlosses korrespondiert. Je dicker der gehärtete Stahl, desto weniger bekommt man ihn durchschnitten. Insofern ist es fast unumgänglich, dass man für höhere Sicherheit auch ein höheres Gewicht des Schlosses in Kauf nehmen muss - vor allem bei längeren Schlössern. Ich sehe im Gewicht eines Schlosses ohnehin keinen Nachteil, da ich es unterwegs nicht in der Hand oder im Rucksack transportiere sondern die mitgelieferte Halterung für das Fahrrad nutze. Da ist es dann egal, ob ein Schloss ein paar hundert Gramm schwerer oder leichter ist.Die einzelnen Glieder des Schlosses sind jedenfalls dick genug, dass sie nicht mit üblichen Bolzenschneidern durchtrennt werden können. Zum Schutz vor Kratzern am Fahrradrahmen sind sie kunststoffummantelt. Noch besser wäre hier Gummi gewesen wie beim deutschen Premiumhersteller. Um sie leichtgängiger zu machen, habe ich einen etwas Silikonöl an allen Gelenken aufgetragen, ansonsten ist das Schloss wie die meisten anderen Faltschlösser relativ sperrig und wenig komfortabel in der Handhabung. Hier sind Ketten- und Kabelschlösser überlegen.Der Vorteil von Zahlenschlössern ist, dass man keinen Schlüssel verlegen/verlieren kann. Die vier Stellen lassen sich nicht durch "Fühlen" oder durch Klicken herausbekommen, insofern hat man mit den 10.000 Kombinationsmöglichkeiten eine ausreichende Sicherheit. Man sollte natürlich tunlichst keine ungeschickte Kombination speichern (0000, 1234 usw.). Das Ändern des Nummerncodes ist simpel und wird im Produktvideo gut beschrieben. Daneben kann man alternativ einen Blick in die ausgedruckte Papier-Bedienungsanleitung werfen.Insgesamt geht dieses Schloss für knapp 40 Euro im P/L-Verhältnis in Ordnung, auch wenn nach oben noch Luft ist.

Ich habe das NDakter Faltschloss kostenlos zum Testen erhalten. Das Produkt wurde schnell geliefert und war sicher in einer ansprechenden und stabilen Schachtel verpackt.Die Stäbe sind mit Nieten miteinander verbunden, sehr dick und widerstandsfähig. Das Fahrradschloss ist sauber verarbeitet und sehr schwer. Über die Sicherheit des Zahlenschlosses kann ich leider keine objektive Aussage machen.90 cm stabiles, schweres, sauber gearbeitetes Fahrradschloss. 5 Sterne

OK--this thing is heavy enough that it's probably best for an electric bike, or possibly a heavy Dutch-style commuter, but not great for a road bike. It's really solid and seems like it would provide good protection, but there's no throwing it in a bag, wearing it hanging from a garment, etc. It does come with frame-mounting hardware, and pretty good instructions (in English und auf Deutsch) on how to mount it in a variety of locations, and how to set the combination. I don't need this for a high-risk location, so I'll probably find something lighter, but for many folks, this could be a good option.

I have been using cable locks my entire life and yes, some of my items were stollen as cables are not difficult to cut. Fact forward to today and I am still purchasing motorized toys for myself. My needs are the same and the technology has gotten better. This lock is a decent length and is made up of hardened metal segments. they are all joined together is a large scissor style manner and close up to fit in a holder. It is built well but the length can be a challenge for some. At a minimum, I like to go through at least one wheel and the frame of the scooter. I found one possibility that works after trying over and over it for 10 minutes. What makes this stronger and more unique also limits how if can be bent. Add in the shorter length, due to its extreme weight and the lock just becomes a bit more limited in use.
