Definitely has more loft than the cotton batting. Another plus is that this roll unfolds without tearing apart.

The batting is very light weight and very thinThe best option for hand quilting, a California king size quiltWhen laying out the batting, however, it does tear easily.I would purchase this product again

Too fragile, not tough enough too withstand for longarm quilting. Tears too easily. Do not recommend!

This batting is the worst I have ever bought. It pulls apart too easily so that in the middle of the cut piece it has stretched apart where I have tried to smooth it out. I will never buy this again.

This was my first time using this batting. It seems thin but works well for the pet beds I make. It cut very easily without bunching or sliding out of position. The entire roll was able to be used without finding large creases.
