This outlet saves us from having to run an extension cord across the floor to where our chairs sit in front of the wood stove at camp. Even rustic should look good, and this looks way nicer. It wires up more easily than outlet boxes, and installs easily, as long as you can grab a 2" hole saw.

Needed a flush outdoor outlet for infrequent use on the side of the house with no easily accessible power. This fit the bill and worked quite well. As the run from interior to exterior was only around 8 inches, I used 14 awg line, and it fed through easily. The overall fit and quality is outstanding. The price isn't bad. It looks a lot better than either installing a regular box and in use cover, surface mount ip67 box, or a weatherproof traditional plate.I'm happy with it. It seems pretty waterproof when cover is on as I have splashed it numerous times now... Installed it roughly 4 feet up from the ground, so no chance of it flooding. Had a few rain showers and it still works fine and was dry when i popped the cover the following day.

I was looking for a nice waterproof outlet for an existing box with a round hole, and this fits perfectly. It’s well made, ETL certified, and seems to work just fine. The cap is very nice and fits well, but is stiffening a bit with weather.The slip-on back cap is not very robust but holds on ok. I really wish it were better attached. Otherwise it’s a nice receptacle and easy to install.

This sturdy, waterproof and works well for my use. Someday, I will run a buried permanent electrical line out the my backyard shed, but this part of a good medium term solution. My shed is a plastic walled and I am reluctant to installed regular outlet and inlet boxes. I have already installed an inlet to provide power inside the shed and this outlet will provide a simple way to use the same inlet to provide power outside the shed without leaving the doors open. The installation is one 3 wire cable from the inlet to the back side out this outlet; then a very simple mounting with a hole saw. Screw in 3 philips head screws and I have an easy to access plug for my mosquito repeller in the yard.
