I bought these hooks to hang a calendar on the side of my fridge. They are very strong and work great! Perfect for what I wanted.

We used these magnetic hooks on our recent cruise to Alaska. We had quite a bit of rain and they held the weight of our wet raincoats well! The magnetic stuck well to all walls in our cabin. A worthwhile purchase!

Used these one our cruise and they were perfect! The fact that they swivel makes them very versatile. Magnet was very strong and easily held clothes and my backpack.

Much stronger magnets than the previous hooks I had. Not sure about the sixty pound claim but holding pn well. The hook has come off of one when it was pulled slightly to the side, the hook had enough flex to stretch out of the holes its mounted in easier than the magnet pulled off the steel surface. I was able to reattach the hook and it seems to be holding on fine, hopefully less grill utensils on the ground after the next storm.

Very strong magnets built in, the hooks can turn every way possible, and they’re very sturdy. I even keep my wire grill brush hanging all of the time towards the back, underneath. That way, the grill cover goes on over the whole grill easily, and the brush won’t dirty it, or the shelf under the grill.

I purchased these to hold up some heavy duty pot holders. I knew the standard magnetic hook would probably just slide down the refrigerator where I wanted to hang them. VERY strong & sturdy. The potholders are in place after numerous slipping off and putting back on the hooks. I gave only a 3 star on taking them off because I wanted to emphasize the strength of the magnet. 5 stars all across tho!!

I wanted hooks for a future trip on a cruise ship (to use on the metal cabin walls.) I can also use them around my kitchen when not traveling.I got a pack of six hooks which came bundled together in a small ziplock style bag inside a roughly fist-sized cardboard box. I will probably keep the box and use it in my suitcase when I take these on a trip, in part so they don't jump to any random object from within my suitcase! The little box weighs about 300 grams, with each individual hook just shy of 50 g.At first, I was going to order the strongest magnetic hooks I could find, but then I read the reviews and realized my arthritis might make that a bad idea. These were very well priced, so I ordered a set.Compared to any tiny, flat magnet, the hook on these makes them easier to pry off of a surface. 5 stars for easy to remove. Of course, any strong magnet can be difficult to pry apart. That's a feature, not a failure.Sturdiness? I leaned my (not insubstantial) body weight onto the hook, pulling with one finger. My desire to stop putting pressure on my aching finger happened before the hook came off the metal shelf over my stove. The hook is firmly attached to its magnetic base, and the it swings smoothly on its hinge. These feel like a 5 star build for the price.Versatility of a magnet depends upon what you have in the place you intend to use it, but I like that the hook is made of open wire and also swings from a hinge. I believe I could hang almost any object in the correct (rated) weight range from this style of hook. Of course, that's any object that will fit on a hook well-sized for an average adult finger; it won't work for super thick item bigger than ~3/4" around with adding another method of gripping that item.I don't have a set of weights to test the hanging capacity of my new hooks, but I did a simple test with the heaviest item in my kitchen that had the correct size hanging hold: my 8" Le Creuset enameled cast iron frying pan was easy to suspend from the hook and the hook stayed in position without a wobble. I did not see any sliding in the few moments I took photos and left the pan dangling from it. My cast iron pan weighs almost 3 lbs (over 1300 g.)It is not impossible, but quite difficult, for me to pull this hook straight back and off of my metal kitchen shelf. (Sliding a hook to an edge before prying it up makes removal much easier, but beware the risk of scratching any delicate surface. My magnet did NOT scratch my metal shelf when I slid it, but I don't care about scratches of that type on this surface.)These are great hooks for MOST kitchen applications, including suspending at least small cast iron pieces. These would be overkill to hold potholders, but better too strong than too weak, so I'd say these are suitable for that purpose. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.*Update 2022/09*On a Holland America Line cruise on the ship Nieuw Statendam, these worked on several walls and made organizing our stateroom much easier. Each family member had one to hang his or her mask near the bed (because room service breakfast is delightful!) These were also plenty strong enough to hold up summer rain gear for the north Atlantic region (unlined raincoat, rain pants, sun hats, etc.)My only complaint? I could easily have used twice as many hooks as the single package I brought!Be aware that not every wall on a cruise ship will hold a magnet, but we did find plenty of useful spots on this particular ship for our voyage.
