The part worked out great, fit well. It is a big job to take the powerhead apart to replace the hose. Various driver bits are needed, phillips, security type torx and flat blade too.

I could repair my shark vacuum and restore it to like new operation. My original hose was broken in 4 spots, this was relatively easy to install if you have some mechanical skills. It took me about 30 minutes to put it in. It does require some special torques drivers with the safety hole in the middle of the bit to remove tamper resistant screws.

Our Shark stick vac lost suction because the lower hose split. Duct tape worked to bridge the gap for a while until I found these replacement hoses. My husband took on the task of changing them out. Not as easy as the YouTube video shows! But we got it back together; and it’s back to normal - so much better than buying a whole new vacuum! How wasteful and expensive that would have been!!!Thanks, Amazon!!! Our carpets and hardwood floors thank you!!! We should be sucking up dirt for a few more years now!!!
