The Shoe Mount to 15mm Rod Clamp Adapter enables you directly attach a 15mm rod to camera rig just via original hot shoe. Very convenient for rail extension use, such as adding follow focus, T5 SSD bracket, microphone, etc.
Secure the 15mm single rod clamp with a thumbscrew, built-in loacting hole and you can choose to re-tighten via a hex spanner if necessary (not includes the hex spanner)

Clamps right up to a 15mm rod; and works with my follow focus setup. Nice to have another mount point to not have to take apart a whole other rig to use the follow focus. Good value item.

Tried a bunch of different rods, as tight as I can physically make the clamp, there's still a slight looseness to the clamping of the rods, so its useless. Worked fine on the hot shoe, perfect actually, real shame. Maybe I got a defective one, or I missed something, seems pretty obvious though. I'll try again with a different version, I see they make a couple different ones. WIll edit my review if indeed it was something I did wrong, I really dont think so though.
