Alles ist schwarz mattiert, macht also in Aufnahmen keine Reflexe.

The Smallrig desk mount camera arm is a very good device for mounting a camera or any other equipment that you want over a particular spot. I have been using my Smallrig deskmount camera holder to hold my somewhat heavy R5C with a 2.0 28-70mm lens and the mount is able to hold everything securely. In a pinch I even used it to suspend a heat lamp over my son's turtle cage. The mount seems to be of good quality and works well.

I already had a less expensive camera desk mount that was okay but, when I saw this one by Smallrig, I couldn’t wait to order this. I have several Smallrig items and they are all very well made and this desk mount is everything I hoped for. It is well manufactured, very solid and stable. I’ll be selling the other one I got!

Way better than elgato master mount!!! Highly recommend this! Ball head can easily handle Sony a7iv and a big lens unlike elgato.

Extremely stable and doesn’t take up any space on your desk. No more trying to balance my tripod on my desk and trying to record at weird angles. This thing lets you get ANY angle through the use of the included ball joint. Got my lumix g85 mounted on my desk and it’s made my workflow much easier for YouTube and Twitch.

I pretty much like anything SmallRig does. They have carved out a niche in the photo world by producing quality accessories for cameras, and without fail these have been excellent products for me.This camera/light mount is another example of SmallRig excellence. It is not an expensive rig, at $50 today, and it does what it is supposed to do. I can easily see mounting your phone, or camera for Vlog work, or lighting or both. The arm is fully adjustable up and down the main stand, and has a 360 degree turn ability. If you want to attach something to a table and record, or perhaps to copy something, this is an excellent way to do so.My concern comes from my experience setting up this rig. It looked straightforward to me: Attach the extension, loosen the arm, attach the 2nd ball head...... hang on...... it's in the photo so it must be here somewhere....... but it is not. In four of the eight photos on the display page there is a photo of the rig with a ball head on top and on the side. There is a flash on top, and a camera on top, all attached to a 2nd ball head - but there is only one in the package - and no disclaimer. For those of us planning a setup, this is a disappointment. Sure enough when I looked at the description, it showed only one ball head, but I believe something that is represented in a photo should either be there, or attached with a disclaimer that it is not included. That keeps the disappointment levels down. For your information, the threaded hole on top of the rig is 3/8-16. I happen to have multiple small ball heads and adapters (some of which are SmallRig) and so I have access to the necessary equipment. Someone who is a novice, or who doesn't have additional equipment, will be disappointed and will need other pieces to make this rig work. All the above aside, this is once again a quality SmallRig product that will have multiple applications and should be part of your kit if you are Vlogging, or even for macro work. But be ready to invest in another ball head if you want to do what they are showing in their marketing photos. All the same, it is SmallRig, it is good, and I recommend it.

This SMALLRIG Desk Support Kit Model #4938 for content creation is extremely well built.I've owned many Smallrig products throughout the years and they do not disappoint; it's clear they're a brand of content creators who truly design with content creators in mind. With so many similar variations of desk mount camera kits on the market...I've cycled through a few; I wasn't expecting much but this is the one, the last one I will buy. Well unless of course they design a better one lol. What sets this apart from the rest aside from the curved detail to the base of the main pole is the overall build quality and versatile features. Unlike others on the market with a similar aesthetic this one is solid metal....brass details. There's no ABS plastic; not even the knob of the deck clamp; which I have yet to see differently on any other brand and they didn't cheap in the ball head either from end to end this is the Smallrig quality I've grown to love! And the value! This kit is priced VERY well! The quality is above the rest and yet their price is still inline with the market. The joint on this kit is that of a magic arm; it will require two hands to adjust which will probably make some people groan but c'mon get real that's not much to complain about. Both the elbow joint and desk clamp screw function smoothly and surprisingly there doesn't to be any concern, possibility of the secondary arm scratching the main arm during adjustments which promotes longevity while speaking to durability. This kit is super compact and lightweight making it perfect for content creators on the move. You could easily bring this along on the bus or train to a convention or to a restaurant for food photography. The thing I LOVE most about this kit is the hidden feature Smallrig failed to advertise and that's the fact that in addition to the 1/4 thread screw at the top of the main pole theirs an addition 1/4 thread screw hole at the end of the secondary arm as well which opens up great flexibility opportunities. This hidden feature will allow the for 3 devices creating opportunity to put more distance between your lens and light source or between your main camera and secondary all on one "rig" eliminating the possible need for a detached tripod to mount your secondary camera. I attached a magic arm to the opposite end of the ball head on the secondary arm.Overall this kit is of great value in more ways than one. It's a must have! Buy two gift one!
