This is the third cam jam I have ordered. They are very handy to have in the truck for unplanned tie down needs. They are much smaller and less cumbersome than a regular tie down strap and yet way more versatile than a tie down strap. I highly recommend these. I have a couple that use paracord and then this one that uses larger diameter rope. This one fits in the glove box of my truck just fine and I keep a smaller paracord one in the center console of my wifes jeep. I also keep a smaller one on the boat.

This has got to be one of my new favorite items in my camping box. Gone are the days of rigging up elaborate schemes to hold up a clothesline or tension a tarp. All you need is this and a rope for an infinitely adjustable line. Super easy to setup and adjust. Included sling is a good versatile length, but you can easily replace it with a longer one if it suits your needs better.

Works great for its intended purpose, I just feel it's a little spendy for what it is. I use this for strapping down loads when I don't feel like tying a knot. It's quick and easy for when I'm lazy or forgetful.The build quality is great and it the hold is rock solid.I have a collection of Nite Ize products and they have all worked well.

This device makes securing items to my roof SOOO much easier than using traditional straps. Feed the rope through the jam and pull and boom, you have a super tight rope. Just press the tab when you are ready to release and it comes right undone.The only problem is now that I have one, I want more! Great product.

How's tight. I like how easy It is to use. Can get it really tight and just flip the switch to release it. Its held up good just holding light loads down in my truck.

This is the second cord tightener of this type that I’ve acquired in the last few months. The first one was the small version that works with thinner ropes. This larger version is just as well made and useful as its little brother.I used this to hold some frost blankets in place over some plants. I was using a fairly thick rope so I couldn’t use the smaller version. This one fit the rope very well and held incredibly tight and secure even during a very windy night. It is just as easy to release the rope as it is to feed and tighten the rope. The nylon strap makes it easy to form a soft connection at the tie down spot.I have lots of Nite Ize® products and am always impressed with the build quality of their products. The body of this rope tightener is smooth aluminum that is very comfortable to use. There is a fairly large hole at the top of this item where the included nylon strap passes. You could also replace the strap with a pretty large rope or carabiner if you preferred.Overall, this is an outstanding product. It’s simple to use, very versatile, and well made. I recommend this item with no reservation whatsoever. Great product.
