This casserole was an exact replacement of the microwave workhorse that I have been using for so long I can't remember ever NOT having it. Mine cracked, and I was so excited to see that I could still get one, although it costs a good bit more now, still worth it! I was so happy when the package arrived, and so disappointed to open it and find---a flour sifter. I reached out to Amazon to return it, and got the standard message that it would be shipped when the wrong order was returned. Much to my surprise, I got an email from the company apologizing and saying that the casserole had been reordered for me, and the next day, I had the new casserole in my hands. Excellent customer service from Wasserstrom, I will definitely look to buy from them again.

I have been purchasing this Nordic Ware casserole for years. It’s well-made, but I usually replace it when the interior becomes discolored. I use it to steam all kinds of fresh and frozen vegetables.

It is my go-to rice pot. It is bumped up in the center so all of the rice gets cooked. Very sturdy. The cover serves as an extra cooking dish. This is my second one. My first one is twenty years old and still going strong. It stains on the inside but that is not a problem for me. I bought this replacement because I was afraid they would stop making them. You will not be sorry you bought it.
