I bought three of the 5v controllers and none of them worked with a 5v supply. They do work if the supply is 12v but if you need it to be 5v, look elsewhere.

Really neat product, accurate temperature, easy to configure. However it suddenly wouldn't control a fan, but works when I try l tap it. Seems the relay is sticking. I ordered a new one. It's electronics, these things happen.

Pros:- Easy to use (for me to start a device to power up, and bam.. that device is on) with out any manual control.Cons: None.. except the first one I i got, I was joining my wires together. I began soldering my wires together. I got distracted by my wife. And then i saw i melted the terminal with my soldering iron.ok.. my setup for my custom Audio Box. First I have a Sonos Connect, that sends audio signal to my Sonos Roam's. Secondly the Sonos Connect sends audio signal via RCA cable, To my small amplifier. That sends musical signal to my 2 Bose Speakers, mounted on my ceiling, in my apartment. Well the reason i got this, i figured that with this item, i have no need to flip a switch or something to start my cooling system. I did have an amplifier previously, that overheated. Now I have 5x 5v Cooling Fans, This product starts up all 5 fans on . and when the temperature drops, it automatically shuts off my cooling fans. Awesome Product. Very cool idea!

Very simple to set, I have it running a USB fan over cooling fins on my big old air compressor.

Perfect , exactly what I needed to automatically turn the “breeze” fans on my reef tank on for evaporation cooling. Eliminating the need for yet another timer and 12vDC Brick

I bought this to control the cooling cycle on a water cooler that decided to evolve from water cooler to ice maker. I located a source for 5VDC on the circuit board of the cooler, wired it into the plug on the board that the cooling on/off switch was plugged into and it has been working great ever since. Nice quick and cheap fix to extend the life of my water cooler.
