This product does work with my Shark vacuum cleaner. There is a flaw in the connection from the tube that fits the vacuum. If you will connect the tube to the vacuum and have the power connected and then turn the switch on, you will find the tube stays connected to the machine and it works fine.

Works well, cheaper than replacing the entire vaccum. The only annoyance is at the connection point it doesn't seamlessly connect.

This part is almost a match. The part of the hose that attaches to the vacuum does not lock in tight. Something with the click in pins either were broken or nozzle end is a tad to small.
