This was an odd order. The manufacture had an extended lead time but vendor was good at keeping me informed and was very helpful in getting my order completed in a timely manner.

I've ordered 2 in the last 6 months as they reach a point where they just don't hold calibration, no matter how often you calibrate. I am really disappointed in the product.

Very unreliable.. make sure you have a backup handy. For me, they last 3-4 months before something goes wrong. This time it says OR. (Yes, i always clean it and always have the 7.0 in the cap.)

This used to be my go-to ph tester. However, for some reason when I ordered this one (after dropping my last one) it just won't calibrate. I returned it once and got a new one still doesn't work. I re-ordered ph solution and then I had to change the batteries... Since it's been a couple of months there's no way to return it again. I have just given up and am going to order a different brand.

I placed this order 2 days ago on 12/07/2017 and the item arrived on 12/09/2017. The previous model of this item was my go to, and I used it for 2 years until I messed up and allowed it to stay dry for too long and the calibration was irreparable. So I thought that this seller was selling the older model as pictured here on this listing, as even some of you possibly were. The item that arrived was a newer model so I find this listing lazy and dishonest. Strike 1. I then proceeded to take it out of the package that itself was extremely scratched up, considering this was a "new" item. Strike 2. I then noticed that the LCD screen protector had been reapplied and what lied underneath was a screen scratch that was very deep and was not dirt as pictured, coupled with other surface scratches around the unit housing alone. Strike 3. But we are not done! Then I looked at the label to find out it had been replaced with a different label on top of the old and that this was manufactured or originally sold on or around 6/6/2017, essentially halving my manufacturer warranty right out of the gate. Strike 4! Then and finally, to find out that the item would not power on or respond what-so-ever. Strike 5.. Seriously????This is beyond unacceptable and extremely shady business practices. I ask any and all of you to go elsewhere and beware that this particular seller may be questionable at best. I wish I could find out if this product had been improved on the prior model, too bad because of this seller and experience I have decided to find a wholly different brand and tester. BEWARE.
