Easy to use and puts a barrier between my arm and my guitar. One thing is that I have slim arms and it is a fairly snug but not uncomfortable fit. It’s stretchy so it would work with beefier arms and you want it snug enough to not slide down your arm.

Purchased 1 medium initially to allow my arm to slide (rather than stick) on the guitar (facilitates string tracking). Does the job well.Purchased 2 more mediums. The one for myself is a bit too loose, slowly slipping down my forearm. The other I gave to my son, so not sure how that one fit.Not a great record of consistency.

Unobtrusive to wear. I can see how it protects the instrument from sweat corrosion but the fabric is a bit slippy and slides around, making an instrument held without a strap, a classical guitar for instance, feel a bit unstable. This is particularly so with a ukulele where the instrument is cradled in the arm rather than rested on the leg. Ukulelists may want to go to the extra expense of fitting strap buttons to use with this sleeve.

These things are great. No more sweaty arms sticking to the gloss finish on my guitars. They are very comfortable and are also great at easing nerve pain associated with many illnesses. In my case, nerve pain from Lyme disease. Very comfortable!

The only improvement I’d make in this sleeve is some little difference to the stitching at one end to indicate the large end from the small. The openings are so close to equal that I only notice the difference once it’s on and if I’ve got it backwards. Perhaps I’ll learn to slow down and look more carefully, but a visual clue would still be a nice touch.

I got this sleeve to reduce friction on my forearm from my big dreadnought acoustic guitar, and it's working well. I'm mainly a finger-style player, so my right arm doesn't see a lot of friction, but the sleeve does add some extra comfort. It's a little bit cinched in the inner elbow during use, but that's not an impediment to my playing. It's really coming in much handier with my new guitalele as far as a friction buffer, because I am doing a lot of strumming. It's reducing the friction at the bottom bout of the instrument very well.As far as value, I give this 4 stars, because it's not much more than a small sleeve with two seams, but it's more stylish and professional looking than I expected, and certainly way cooler looking than using an old cutoff tube sock. The Medium is fit is perfect for me, as my arms are fairly thin.As far as comfort, I gave this 4 stars because it does cinch a little in the inner elbow. However, it doesn't cut off my circulation at the end seams. It's also black, so it looks pretty cool. My personal wish list for this? I'd love to have a few other color/pattern options for the visual aesthetic, but functionality is the key, and it's working well for me.

The price of this item is absolutely ludicrous. Cut the end off a sock, some activewear, or even a sleeve from some old tight fitting clothes. It'll work equally as well and it's free.

I bought this a few weeks back on Amazon to use while playing my Martin acoustic guitar. I didn't want to add oils and dirt to the finish of the guitar, so I thought it would be helpful. As an added bonus, I've appreciated having less "imprints" on my arm from the edge of the guitar. If I forget to put the sleeve on, I notice the usual marks on my arm. So I have to say, this really does work for what it what intended to do, that being, protecting your instrument and your arm during your playing. It fits just fine and it's as simple as putting on a small garment.

I happened to see this product in 'Classical Guitar magazine, There was a photo of a guitarist using it.. I am a concert classical guitarist and when not wearing long sleeves we do not want our skin to touch the fine woods of the guitar because of the oils contained on the skin. This product (guitar sleeve) solves that problem. I practice about 5 hours a day and I usually wear a tee shirt when I practice. Before, I would have to use a guitar cloth to place under my forearm. This sleeve allows you to do without the cloth and I found that to be quite liberating. I ordered several more so I would have backup. The sleeve can get a bit stretched out with a lot of use but it remains usable by simply pulling the sleeve slightly higher on the arm. I love this product and I highly recommend the sleeve to those who would like to protect the fine wood on their guitar. Hello to all or my brother guitarists!
