Had it less than a week and it stopped opening. It wasn’t easy to set up as every time you had to set a timer versus setting it to go off at a certain time.

Give yourself some time away from the house. You can deliver two temperature-controlled meals for your cat or dog in a 48-hour time span. Simply freeze the ice packs, pack food into stainless steel bowls and turn the dial to select feeding times.Construction of the feeders is top notch.

I came home to a hungry, upset, UNFED pet one too many times. The feeders simply don't open reliably- on time, or sometimes, at all. Overpriced junk. Returned.**ETA: I'm adding two stars for truly impressive customer service. I was contacted by the brand after my return was processed, and offered replacement feeders. The new feeders work better than the first set, but are still not 100% reliable. I don't know whether it's a design flaw or a quality control issue, but I do believe the company cares about customer satisfaction and product performance. They were very eager to troubleshoot, and receptive to suggestions. Like others, I feel this product could benefit from a shorter, more precise digital timer, a rechargeable power source- or at least an on/off switch and a power indicator light, and better insulation and/or a bigger ice pack.Despite everything, I think this feeder is as good or better than other comparable wet feeders on the market (which all seem to have fatal design flaws) if for no other reason than ONEISALL Direct offers a warranty and excellent customer support. I'd say they're worth a try, but please test your feeders while you're home before relying on them while you're gone, and don't utilize beyond 8hrs for wet food.

Don’t waste your money on this. I wish I had read the reviews before buying this item. I tried it out for a month and even replaced the batteries twice. It would only open when there would be no food inside. I use wet food so maybe that’s why.

Great for demanding cat! I got tired of my cat waking me up every morning at 6 am for canned food. She was driving me crazy until I tried these automatic timed feeders. What a sleep saver. My cat insists on having cold fresh canned tuna as soon as the sun comes up and she will scream and meow until she gets it. So fun! Well with this great invention I now get to sleep in without a cat alarm clock. It's easy to use and set timer and works great. Timers are accurate. I put the ice pack and food in the feeder just before bed so it stays coldest and set the timer for 6am. It automatically opens and the food stays cold and fresh enough for kitties standards. I love that I no longer get woken up by a hungry demanding cat. I'm very happy with this product! This is very handy for feeding pets at certain times when you're unable to or just don't want to. I use one for my kitty and one for my little dog. They are awesome! Great design with the ice pack. This is exactly what my pets needed. I'm very happy with this product.

Unreliable. Won’t always open even when in open position. Works maybe 1/2 the time. I wouldn’t trust these to go off if I was away for an extended time from my pet.

I purchased these feeders because I have a cat who is intent on waking me up around 4 in the morning to get fed and was driving me insane. I looked at a lot of the fancier digital models, but this had the features I wanted at a reasonable price.He has had chin acne in the past so the shallow stainless bowls are perfect, plus being removable I can clean one bowl and freeze the ice pack while the other is in use. No issues so far with the feeder opening around the time needed, it's not precise but if you just need a general hour window it works fine.Overall great solution for my cat waking me up!!

I feed my cat raw food (they come as frozen nuggets). These nuggets are typically defrosted in the fridge overnight and then taken out only at meal time. Because it's raw meat, it's especially important for it to be at a food safe temperature (4C / 40F or lower) just before serving. (Btw, even if it wasn't raw, wet food should really be kept at 4C or lower until feeding.)I tested this product with frozen nuggets straight from the freezer, with a fully frozen ice pack. Unfortunately, it didn't even last 6 hours at an adequate temperature. At the 6 hour mark, my food thermometer measured 10-11C inside the nuggets. So it must've rose to above 4C sooner than that. I'm guessing it started to go downhill after 3 hours. This is far from the 48 hours this product advertises.So unfortunately I really can't recommend this product for wet food. And I urge pet owners to do trial runs on these products before actually using them for your pets. Use a food thermometer to verify. Keep your pets healthy!

These are a great idea but they have no insulation so they keep cold for about as long as an ice cube. They’re really simple and would work well for dry food or treats.. but I purchased with the intent of using for wet food that needs to keep cold for an extended amount of time.
