For the price I don’t think you can beat this. Even the trashy looking plastic gravity feeder from Walmart is $11 so spend the extra bit more to get this and then you rarely have to mess with food time.

I have a barn cat that has to be fed when we go camping. Problem was to make it raccoon proof. I put a L bracket on each side to hold it down to platform. Then took container from roses that I had to cover feeder. Cut opening in top to add feed. It worked great. I am really impressed with this feeder, instructions were easy to follow to set it up.

This is an amazing product I just LOVE LOVE it. I have adopted an outdoor kitty and when I am not home i have it timed so food dispenses. And it records your voice. I am not technology savvy and this was so easy ....just remember when programing it is in military time.

So, this is designed to feed a cat once to four times a day. The serving is about half a bowl. It is purely a timed dispenser. It is simple to operate. The metal bowl is easily removed, the hopper is easy to fill. It’s fairly easy to clean. But the fact that it is merely time-based, it can lead to over feeding and overflowing the bowl. Adjusting this, of course, can lead to underfeeding. So, functionally, it’s simple, too simple. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, as other feeders tend to have the same flaws often costing more.

We really like how easy this was to set up and use. The one thing that we hate about it is that the bowl doesn't stay connected to the feeder. Our cat can literally bump it with his nose and it comes detached causing the food to then go all over the floor if we don't notice and reattach it right away.

I have been in the process of moving and not sure exactly when the animals wouls get moved. I unbound this and "set it up" via the power cord at first just to see how it worked and make sure it did. It worked great. I then u plugged it for possibly a few weeks while moving other furniture then put in the batteries as I believe where I will be putting it in the new place isn't really plug in friendly. It had remembered the schul I had set up! All I had to do was tell it what time it currently was and it did the rest!! Love it ans can't wait to see if the cat does
