It was a very flimsy mechanism. Threw everything in the garbage.

Just put one in and it won't keep time. Haven't tried the second one yet. Too bad, seemed like a good drop in replacement. I do like the silver hands.

Five sets of 'hands' to chose from in various lengths and styles. (they do bend easily so care to be taken when adding) Also variety of colours to the 'hands'. Mechanisms work well. Well worth the reasonable cost!

Nice replacement. I find the hands are wa to flimsy, they bend when you install them. For the price, they are ok.

Hands don't fit, two motors - one DOA, hands arrive bent in shipping, and the whole thing is just a cheap mess. But - one motor worked and I was able to get the old hands to fit, so all is not lost. Just consider this package to be a continuance of the DIY bit.

My kitchen clock gave out and I could not find a replacement that I liked as well as my old clock. Purchased this mechanism kits and it is working like new. With the variety of hand designs I found one that suited very well.

i used this in an existing clock where the motor went bad. I had to adjust depth of shaft to avoid second hand hitting glass face of clock.

While an accurate description of the product, the packaging left little to be desired. Arrived just sort of “shoved” into plastic bags, inside another bag. As sick, some of the longer clock hands were a bit mangled. Managed to correct them,, but if you are going for precision with your clock mechanism, this is probably not the one for you. Easy to assemble, though took some tweaking due to the bends hIn the hands.

I needed to change the movement of a clock. The set did the job (ok maybe I did the job). I took away one star due to how flimsy the hands are but it's nice we've given so many to choose from.

Very happy with this product. Good selection of hands and everything was super easy to install in my old clock face.

I used this motor while performing routine, annual maintenance on my home clocks. Every December I inspect my home's clocks and repair them when necessary. This year my kitchen timepiece had thrown a rod after spinning a main bearing while being operated in an unnecessarily reckless manner which involved a high motor speed. This kit saved me the expense of buying a new clock, for which I might have paid $9.00! Thank you, Jesus.
