EMOON Notes
- The hour and minute hands had a protective plastic coating that needs to be carefully removed.
- Be careful not to bend the hands with too much pressure.
- Please do not use Alkaline battery, rechargeable battery, or they will damage the movement.
- Do not tighten the brass hex nut too tight
- Press hard to get all clock hands in place
- Check if all hands are aligned

It’s important to order the same length hour and minute hands as the existing clock. This along with the shaft length on the clock mechanism correctly sized and then everything works very well. Very satisfied with the mechanism that I purchased.

It says it fits locks 1/4 to 1/2” thick and that the threaded shaft is 5/8” long. It is not - it is 7/16” long.

Works as it should. Really nice replacement mechanism for a large clock I had that broke. I have good hearing and this is very quiet unless you put your face against it. Overall no regrets

The repair kit is fine. I would have preferred an option with even longer minute and hour hands. Also, mechanism is recommended to be powered by a single AA carbon battery instead of the more popular and available alkaline battery. The use of a single AA also makes me wonder how long before I’ll need to replace the battery. The mechanism that this replaced used 3 AA batteries.

I only needed the smaller set of hands and I didn't use the wall hanging bracket that was supplied. The shaft was a bit long for our application, so I had to use a large rubber washer as a spacer between the back of our dial and the clock works. The hands are a wee bit narrow for the face of the clock, but they will do. It is very difficult to find an exact replacement for hands, especially on an older clock that may be out of fashion; this will do,so maybe 4 stars is a bit harsh. After a fairly easy assembly, it keeps time, looks nice, nearly the same as original, and my wife gets to keep her oversized wall clock. Happy spouse, happy house. Win win win.
