I ordered these and they were so complicated to setup. There’s these toggle switches that only support 1 mode at a time. They wouldn’t link either through cat5/6. Mentions ARC support and that didn’t work either. Customer service didn’t know what the problems were either. Returned for full refund.

I don’t understand why the ARC/ toslink input are on the transmit side and not the receive? The transmit side, of your extender, is where the surround sound receiver goes and the receiver is where the tv goes. You need the toslink/ Arc on the receiver side to send audio back in to the Audio Receiver. From what I could tell you extender is only designed to use the looping output to add a tv and inject ARC/ toslink back in. Unless I’m missing something it is not usable to use the Ethernet connection with Arc. Very disappointing to find this out while on a project.

Easy to install. Great that it has two way remote control. I used Cat 5 and had no issues.
