Looks phenomenal and is very sturdy. Well made and does exactly the job it is intended for.Works great on carpet. Not for hard floors as it does slip -- that's an easy remedy with rubber stick-ons.

This thing is awesome and absolutely gorgeous. I previously had a metal foot stand for playing, and this thing seems significantly stronger. I wouldn't dare stand on it, but it feels more solid as I have it setup.I think the biggest fear I had when I bought this was how big it was. The legs stick out on the side wider than my foot, and it doesn't feel like it's going to tip over as I'm resting on it.I use this in my practice area at home, so if I'm wearing socks my foot slips around. That'd be my only complaint. But when I take off my socks, it's normally useable. I expect wearing decent nonslip shoes like one does when gigging that it'd work out great for you.You can't go wrong with this. Unless you wear socks to play guitar.

This is a nice product. It’s only downfall is that it slips too much on wooden flooring and must be used on carpet. It also tips easily if it’s not in a forward position enough. Comfortable though and looks great!

I try not to be a disposable consumer. When I buy things, I choose items that I believe will last longer, eliminating the need to discard & re-purchase. I feel this lives up to that as well as being as a great foot rest!It looks great and matches my guitars and room well. It is sturdy and of good quality In all areas. The main rest area is a layered wood while the braces are solid. The metal bars are firm and the whole item is finished well with all edges nicely rounded and smooth. The paint finish meets expectations and is consistent with the product image. I would not try and put my whole weight on it but that should not be necessary as a guitar foot rest.I now use this every day. When I first started using it, I found my foot sliding around a bit and wondered whether rubber grips on the bottom could be useful. However, I quickly realised that it wasn’t necessary and appreciate the ability to slide it around a little here and there when playing; let’s face it, who robotically sits in one place when they are enjoying being lost in their music ... I certainly want it to move with me!I looked at a few of the metal styles, there are numerous of them coming from different brands, but basically all representing the same product. I didn’t try those so can’t comment how they compare but having purchased this feel no need to go ahead and get anything else.After using it for about 1 month, I feel this is a one time, long time purchase and I’m happy to share this review.I hope this helps. Save the planet!This Ortega foot rest is my first Ortega product but based on this first time customer experience it won’t be my last. The photos are my own.
