Reminds me of the old days! It was easy to set up and it's easy to use, but you do need clothes pins. If you are yearning to save some electrical energy, using a clothesline like this will certainly help. My very first real "job" as a young child was to scare the birds away from the clothesline and then to tell my mom when the clothing and bedsheets were dry. It kept me out from underfoot and gave me a real sense of responsibility.

I Love hanging out my clothes. I know, it’s old fashion. I’ve been using cotton clothes line. They break! I was sick of it when I seen this clothes line and it’s fantastic. It’s made with coiled wire wrapped with plastic coating. It’s very strong and sturdy. I hope I won’t be replacing this clothesline any time soon. Also there is enough length, but I didn’t need a long line anyway.
