It is fairly stretchy. As a clothesline that I don't want hanging on the ground I would like to see it less stretchy.

I have a little vacation cabin and got this for one of those pulley systems so you could stand in one place and hang your laundry, pull the line out a bit, and hang some more instead of having to walk up and down the line.This rope is great. I used a tensioner and a pulley to run it from the porch to a tree across the yard. It didn't sag; it didn't stretch. It worked like a champ until the whole setup was stolen. I guess the fact that someone is willing to steal it proves it's good quality stuff.

Seems to be a good product. I bought because a question was ask where it was made and the answer was the USA. It’s designed in the USA but made in China.

This is hands down the worst clothes line I've ever used. I hung a few pieces of fairly lightweight clothing and the lines sagged to the ground.ETA a picture of what this line looks like after just a couple days. I have hund 2 loads of laundry and it has stretched so much its 1/2way to the ground.If you look carefully you can see the 3rd line in the back that has only been used once so far and is still pretty taught.

This clothesline cord is sturdy, but does stretch a bit. Be sure to take that into account when initially hanging it up so you don't have things dragging on the floor.
