Exactly what i expected. I wouldn't have believed these things had a load capacity they claim if i hadn't strung it up and literally swung my whole body weight from it.

I've been using "Owner" products for ages, they're manufactured to a high stander and the name represents it. Something you can count on without the worries of failure.

Quality looks great, I pulled a star because of a lack of information. I contacted the manufacture but received no reply. I searched their catalogs and descriptions but was unable to find any published dimensions for these swivels so I guessed and bought the wrong size. Hope these dimensions help someone else.I ordered the #4 Owner American swivels and received Size 4, Model: 5158-041 Made in China, Lot#0716THE DIMENSIONS I MEASURE FROM THIS PACKAGE ARE AS FOLLOWS:Body Dia: 0.195"Length of entire body: 0.475" (tip to tip)Over-all length: 0.865" (outside of rings)Ring wire: 0.035"Large Ring ID: 0.205"Large Ring OD: 0.275"Small Ring ID: 0.170"Small Ring OD: 0.240"

Omg these things are perfect. It cost me a bit more in the long run over just using the cheap bags of 500 but the quality and not having to replace them to make clapton coils means more to me than having to stop find the bag and hope my kids haven't gotten into them.

I have used several different swivels over the past year and ALL have failed miserably after just a short amount of time. Seems the ends pull right out of the body. When I took one and applied side to side pressure on it, the head popped right out of the body!! It looked like there was just a slight smash of the end that kept it from falling out! No wonder they failed so often. Then a friend told me about buying swivels that use ball bearings instead of the way the ones I was using were made. Since he had never had a problem that I knew of, I decided to give it a try. I went online and found these and ordered them. Here is what I found:1. These are a lot more expensive then the junk I was buying. Four of these swivels were what I was paying for a bag of 100. Still, when you count the cost of the lost lure and the fish, I guess they were actually VERY expensive!!2. I have used these many times so far and trolled for several hours and have not had a single failure!!! I would have gone through a dozen of the others in this amount of time.3. I thought I would put them to an even tougher test, so I attached them to four large spinners that I used to fly from my upper deck until the swivels on them gave out. Well, after replacing the swivels on the spinner with these I put it up and we have had strong winds (15 to 25 MPH) and the spinner is still working!!!! Mind you, I used the same swivels that I had been out fishing with, so they already had several hours of trolling time on them. Still, I have not had a single failure!!!! To give you an idea, the spinner lasted exactly one day with the original swivels and this has now been up a week. While these may seem initially expensive, they are in fact very inexpensive when you consider time, lost lures, lost fish, or even lost spinner parts!!!I would HIGHLY recommend these swivels to anyone looking for such a product!!!!!!
