I fish in salt water and only use braided line - these scissors work well and require very little care.

Tres bon produit, j m en sers pour la peche en mer sur fluo et tresse.le mousqueton ultra utile si on doit couper à la hate ou lors du montage d une ligne. ca evite qu il s en aille en mer 😉

These are new to me so I can not report on repeated use while fishing or other uses. The point on these is very sharp and they come with a protective end cap which if lost would be a problem for a fishermen. They cut braid like a razor and will be useful where you need a surgical point on your scissors. The product looks well made and comes with a lanyard as well

For the price they are very very good! No trouble cutting any line at all from braid to mono to fluorocarbon. I’m very pleased with these scissors and they are precise too. Great for snag ends on knots.

I use this pair of scissors for cutting fishing line cuts 50 LB braid smoothly and the lanyard comes in handy you can hang it on your tackle box or yourself and don't always have to look for it whenever you want to change a hook or lure

He uses these scissors to fix lines that have needed to be cut or repaired while out on guided fishing trips. These scissors fit easily in his pocket and hold up well to lots of use. We have bought him several pairs (not due to poor quality) but because he likes them so much he has even gifted a few pairs to good friends!

Nice sized, lightweight, however sometimes the Fireline folds or creases rather than cutting. Also the cord-attached cap is annoying for me. I understand it’s there for preventing losing the cover when you’re out fishing, but I don’t fish so it’s not needed. I removed it.

Very well thought out. These have a sharp tip but have a plastic cover with a leash to the body of the scissors. Cover stays in place. The lanyard is usable though you may prefer a zip line. Comes with an installed split ring for that purpose. Cuts braided line easily and cleanly. I don't know, but would doubt these would hold up in salt water but that's not what I got them for. Overall a good purchase.

They're scissors, they cut stuff. More importantly they cleanly cut the spiderwire 6lb braided line.Most products (Other scissors) will also cut the line by sort of fraying their way through the line as opposed to making a clean cut. A non-clean cut especially with braided line can cause problems when cutting one lure off and trying to tie another, its kind of like trying to thread a needle with frayed thread. It can be done but it's a pain in the ass.These scissors make a clean cut, or as clean as possible with braided line. They also have a nifty protective cap, this is great since all my stuff is in a fabric bag (Tactical thigh bag.) and pointed scissors without a safety cap would be punching holes through the bag all day. The cap come with a little lanyard to keep you from losing it. however the lanyard is a might too short, and sometimes can get in the way.I understand why they did this, as it is a bungee type lanyard and is also used to keep the cap on, however it would have been better to have a longer lanyard, and the cap clip on and hold itself in place without the need of the bungee to do this. 1/4 star off for this, but other than that they are a great addition for a "minimalist tackle box" set up.
