Been wanting one of these for a long time. Finally got this one. It’s “OK” but won’t bring too much to the jams. It’s a bit quieter than I thought

It is easy for beginners to sound like a pro right off the bat. You touch this and it sounds like you know what you are doing. It sounds good. I'm ready to little drummer girl this Christmas. This is an amazing instrument; I am amazed that a snare sound is coming from what looks like a wood box. This is astounding to me and I love it. Highly recommended.

I never heard of a Cajon Drum before but was really impressed with the different sounds you are able to make by tapping / slapping different areas of the box. I watched a video online on how to play and it was pretty easy to pick up and play with no musical talent. Obviously I am not playing advanced songs and probably just making rhythmic noises but its a lot of fun. My daughter is a musician and also found it entertaining and asked to borrow it to make some samples for music she is making. The box is well assembled and very pretty. The added strap and case are nice for carrying and protecting the box. The snare adds a unique sound that is pretty cool IMO. Overall its a fun instrument and pretty good for an online buy.

This Cajon drum is very cool. It's small so it can be taken anywhere you want to take it. This is a dual sided drum with each side producing different sounds, so no matter what the circumstances may be you can find the perfect sound for the moment. The birch side produces deep, rich tones and the techwood side produces bright, crisp sounds. It's easy enough to use, especially if you have prior experience drumming. I love the sounds that this drum produces.

I wasn't sure of whether I would like this cajon drum with snare straps, but it's really quite cool. Sounds excellent. The snare straps literally make it sound like a snare drum. It has two solid strap buttons - equivalent to what you would find on a guitar - which you can use the included carry strap to wear the drum.Is it a professional cajon drum? No. But sounds great, and is an excellent instrument for a young aspiring drummer, or just to use in a drum circle. Price is right. Highly recommend it.

I like this portable cajon. It's small enough to be portable but also large enough to get a good range of sounds. The external snares adds more sonic options, but I don't think I'll use it much because I like to play all over the soundboard to get the deeper bass tones and I find it gets in the way. I actually tried playing the snare board by itself and it makes an interesting sound.

Cajon drums are wood box drums, sometimes with snares. They can be a great addition to or even a replacement for a drum kit, and can be used with a kick pedal, with brushes or mallets, or as a hand drum. This Cajon is a relatively small, compact version, useful for travel. It has two different sounds on the two sides, one lower pitch, one higher. It comes with a waist strap to make it easier to balance between the knees when playing it conga-style (larger cajons can sit on the floor). There is a snare on an elastic band which works extremely well, adding to the range of sounds this drum can produce. The drum is well built and smoothly finished, with no splinters or rough edges. The drum comes with a canvas bag for carrying, and while it is serviceable, the zipper on the outer accessory pocket separated when I first unzipped it. I was able to get it back on the track, but I suspect it will fail VERY quickly, so that's something that it would be nice for the manufacturer to change.Overall, though, this is a nice sub $100 drum and I look forward to using it with my students. It would be an excellent practice instrument or addition to a home kit, as well as being useful for gigs. I just wish the case were a little more durable, especially since the drum comes with accessories that need to be stored with it.5/5 for the drum, 3/5 for the case
