I've straightened out 3 hangers so far on different bikes. It's a great tool to have in the toolbox on a trip in case you ding your derailleur and can't get to a shop. Plus your friends will appreciate it if you can fix their shifting issues!

The DAG-3 is light-weight aluminum and is easy to use. It does require a light touch to not disturb the pointer setting when rotating to a different location on the wheel. It's not a tool to use often yet invaluable on less expensive frames with non-replaceable derailleur hangers. It does not fit in my toolbox like the collapsible tools yet does fit more sizes of wheels. In addition, the M10 thread is replaceable with an appropriately matching set screw. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is beautifully machined. I've used knock offs that have play in the shaft that threads into the hanger. This has none.

I’ve bent my hanger 3 times now (I really need to be more careful with my derailleur!), and at $30 a pop to have it fixed at my local shop, this is a good investment. Lots of YouTube videos on how to use it, but honestly super easy and is a great addition to my MTB tool chest. The tool is very well made and this latest iteration of the Park adjuster is the gold standard for this type of tool. Just buy it.

Yup, I thought this would be one of those tools that's kinda useful and the cost outweighed the benefit, but this is worth every penny. You'll be glad you bought it the first bent hanger you fix - which is really easy to accomplish with this tool. As usual, every Park Tool detail is thought out, it does it's job well and it's simple to use.

I will always complain that Park Tools are overpriced but also have to admit that these tools are really good, and maybe the best in the market.With the DAG-3 Bicycle Derailleur Hanger Alignment Gauge Tool (this the latest model as 05/2021) is just PERFECT, a thousand times better from his predecessor. Precise, sturdy and easy to use. Park Tool just nailed with this one.
