I requested this item to replace my old umbrella shade of the same dimensions. There was nothing wrong with the original hardware of my old umbrella, but the shade needed replacement. This was the greener option since you’re ordering the shade only.This is a well-made product and fits as described. The color was also as pictured (red). It looks like it will not fade. It is somewhat light filtering, but most of the light is blocked out and it does its job.Installation, although not difficult, is DEFINITELY a two-person job. As always with these reviews, I try by myself and if I find it too difficult, I employ the help of one of my strapping young sons. Once my son was involved, total installation time was about 15 minutes.First, it was very difficult to get my old cover off, so we ended up having to cut it off (not the problem with the manufacturer of this product, but just the way my original cover was built). When installing the new cover, we initially tried to follow the instructions as written but found it easier to put the first few tines in the shade first, then install the finial. Since this umbrella fabric has more give than my original, it was much easier to install the new shade than it was to uninstall my original shade.All in all, good value for the money and a greener option compared to full replacement. I didn’t even know shade only replacement was an option until I saw this product!

Not sure how long this will last. The color is perfect. The material is thin. We replaced a different brand that we only used one summer due to the massive fading.

This replacement fabric for my umbrella skeleton is a nice way to continue using the still-functional parts of my outdoor umbrella. More helpful than the instructions was simply paying close attention to how I disassembled my old umbrella. However the instructions are also fit for the Job. It didn’t take long to do and the update looks nice. This fabric isn’t as thick as my original umbrella but it is more slick so presumably it will shed rain better- whereas my last one tended to absorb it.The green is nice and blends well with my landscape. As far as value, time will tell, but so will the amount of care I choose to put into maintaining my belongings :)

This replacement umbrella canopy seems to be made well with a medium-weight material. It’s definitely a more sturdy material than several of my umbrellas in the past have been. It looks almost like an Oxford-type texture to me. It does have just a slight bit of shine to it, so it may be fairly good at resisting water. I got the red one, and it is a much more vivid red than the photo in the listing shows. It looks like it would be very easy and straightforward to install, but I haven’t yet installed mine because I need to find my eight-rib umbrella frame. The umbrella I have out now has only six ribs. If you need a good quality umbrella canopy replacement that doesn’t break the bank, this could be a good choice.

This is a well designed and constructed outdoor replacement umbrella canopy. Fabric is of good quality, and dimensions are as listed. An excellent product at an attractive price point.

Nice thick material, works perfectly with 9 foot umbrella hardware. The pockets are doubled over so they should stand up pretty well. The material has a bit of a satin sheen to it, it's very "slick" feeling so rain will just roll right off it. The khaki color is a bit darker than the photo.
