Use only this proper replacement filter for the proper OmniFilter. We tried others that were supposed to be compatible but sorely disappointed.. This restored the filter to proper filtration.

Appears to filter out all impurities. When I change the filter, plenty of dirt and sand in the filter. No indications of dirt at the faucets. So seems to be a great value.

I've used these in the past and they have done a great job. My local hardware mega-store used to carry these, but now they sell another brand that's imported from a country that is not know for quality & safety. These are, and have been, made in Mexico. I'm glad that I can still get this safe, high quality North American made product on Amazon!Another reviewer asked about the Proposition 65 warning sticker on his filter. Almost everything has that now, even Disneyland! On my filter, that warning is in fine print in the corner of the label.
