The pentel brush pen is high quality. It looks like India ink. It’s very black and waterproof. The brush tip stays nice. I’ve had the same pen for many years and these refills are affordable.

I do a lot of drawing and then Pentel pocket brush is one of my go to inking tools. I recommend these refills to anybody who uses a Pentel pocket brush. The pigment is very dark in the ink always flows

I bought this because I am on the second refill that came with my pentel pocket brush pen and these are the same ones that came with my pen. One of the boxes only had 3 refills instead of 4, but that being said, 8 bucks for 11 refills still feels like a fair price and my first ink cartridge lasted me the better part of a year, so I'd still recommend it.

I am a bullet journal junkie and an urban sketch artist. I tend to use my pentel pocket brush pen often. This means I use more ink than the average user. Everything about the refills looked on par. The cart fits on my pen; the ink seems to be the same dark black I'm used to. So far, I see no sign of fading or bleeding of the ink. It behaves just like the original ink that came with my pen.I'm glad to have a few cart boxes in my supply box. The price is certainly cheaper here than buying one box at a time at the local art supply shop. So five stars for this one!

Seems to be proper Pentel pocket brush pen ink cartridges--black and pigmented. They give the dry brush effect when you try to do fast strokes with the brush pen. Note that your brush pen may need to sit for a day or so after a new cartridge is seated to get the ink flowing properly into the brush tip. I had not used my brush pen in several months before putting in a new ink cartridge, and it actually took a few days of laying the pen down on its side before I was able to get a smooth flow of ink.

My favorite ink for my favorite pen! The ink is high quality with strong black tones and doesn't bleed when I add watercolor washes over inked drawings! It's a great product for the price and quantity!
