El producto funciona bien hasta cierto punto, para pelo largo y anudado necesita mas filo en las navajas

This has saved me from shaving my mini schnauzer multiple times. It’s amazing and worth every penny!! It glides through those knots like they are butter! She sits through it and it doesn’t bother her at all!

I've never used a dematting comb before, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought the blades would be sharper, but my experience has been that you really have to almost saw through the hair (for reference, I have maltese mixes). This may be typical for retail dematting combs though. One of my dogs does great with it, the other whines and tries to get away as soon as I start trying to work on the matted hair. He's temperamental about all grooming though, so I still gave the product 4 stars because it's very effective with one of my dogs. Just make sure you know how well your dog tolerates grooming.

Now I have to start out by saying that our Golden Doodle has a thick coat that mattes easily and is almost impossible to just brush out. This was okay to cut out matted knots, but I was hoping for a blade that cut them easier. It seemed to involve more "combing and pulling" rather than simply slicing through easilyI found that we just didn't use it as much as we'd anticipated.

I’ve never groomed a dog before, but decided to give it a try on our Portuguese Waterdog once I learned our regular groomer was injured and heard the cost for a substitute. I quickly learned the area around the ears and neck get awfully tangled and matted making it difficult, if not impossible, to get clippers through and still leaving some length for winter protection, enter the Doggiez dematting comb.Upon removing it from the blister pack, I immediately started combing out our dog’s hair. I was concerned about the relatively sharp back side of the comb’s teeth, but quickly realized the side of the teeth that touches our dog’s skin is quite smooth and the sharper, kind of serrated, side was safely drawn through his hair removing the matting, while collecting any loosened strands of hair, which were easily removed. As I worked out the tangles, I wondered if the force of the comb through the matting would cause pain, but he actually seemed to like the combing and continued to stay next to me afterward, perhaps wanting me to comb some more.Even with my inexperience, using this comb was not difficult and left me with a sense that I could safely work on our dog without hurting him or me.

I have a great pyrenees, border collie mix, and she gets matts behind her ears. I was hoping for a solution to combing them out, but this tool was not it. There's no directions on how to use it, but typically they're used similarly to a brush. The tool got stuck in her hair and she doesn't even have any thick matts at this time. She was not a fan of the experience either. I'm guessing it was pulling her hair more than "cutting" it.
