This does what a vacuum simply can not. I care for 7 cats and we have multiple carpeted cat towers in our home. Cat hair is something we partly just embrace but also try our very best to manage regularly. My vacuum keeps things from getting overwhelmingly covered in cat hair but this little tool that requires nothing but a little elbow grease and no electricity at all got actual wads of hair and dust out of the carpet on my cat towers. I was actually thoroughly impressed, I though it might get some hair, kinda like my vacuum, but this gets it all and helps to pull little heavier stuff to the surface that I can suck up easily with my vacuum. Perhaps I was using a little to much force with the tool or using it to quickly, but the grippy handle cover came loose and slid off during the first few uses. Personally this is nothing a little super glue can’t fix for me, and takes away nothing from the actual effectiveness of the tool. I still give the product 5 stars because I’ve yet to find a tool this effective and easy to use that requires nothing but elbow grease in my fight against the never ending cat hair. This tool changes things for good! The similar tool for clothes works well, I tried it out and you could clearly tell it was picking up the cat hair off my clothes. Because it is so grippy it likes to tug and grip the whole fabric of your clothes so you have to take your time with it, but it definitely works great!

The big piece is easy to use for sofas and bigger surfaces. I love how well it works. I've been struggling to use the small one as it's hard to use on clothes due to the grip of the plastic piece. I really like that both tools are easy to clean out if necessary. These tools are definitely reusable and the big one picks up lint and hair.

It seems to work okay, but may be fraying the clothes I roll it on which makes this a dealbreaker. I don't wanna accidentally ruin a nice sweater or something
