内幅23mmのフックレスホイールに30cをインストール。内幅21c基準の新ETRTOで設計されてるので実測32mmでした。空気圧は前3.8bar/後4.0bar(空気圧計算機は3.3/3.5推奨)シーラントはマックオフをエアボリュームが多い30c+ワイドリムなので60mlで運用。簡単にタイヤはハマり、ビードも簡単に上がったので施工も良好。ただホイールとの相性かビード上げた時特有の大きな音も出ずスルッと上がったので若干緩いのかもしれません。いつも通りバルブコア抜いてビード上げるとエアを抜いた直後にビードが落ちるのでコアをつけてビード上げました。エア抜けは1日で0.1〜0.2bar程度で良好。走行性能ですが驚いたのが衝撃吸収力とグリップ性です。走っているとタイヤがモチモチしているのが感じ取れるほどで路面の衝撃がだいぶマイルドになります。転がり抵抗は至って普通のTLRですが凹凸を全く拾わないのでトータルで速いタイヤです。タイヤ自体がしなやかなので好みによって空気圧高めにしても乗り心地は悪くなりづらいです。グリップも高く路面にしっかり食いつきコントロールしやすいので下りも良好。昨今トレンドのワイドリムに最適化しているので対パンクベルトが無い割に特別軽いとは言えない重さが難点。某国産タイヤの様に対パンクベルトが無いタイヤですがベルトがあったところで釘踏んだら穴あきますしパンクは運です。踏んだ所でチューブレスなので瞬間接着剤で簡単に修理出来ます。走行距離2000km現在とりあえずパンクも無く、トレッドの減りも殆ど無いです。ピレリのタイヤは耐久性が高いとは聞いていましたが評判通り高そうです。

These might be the best tires ever made, but they are useless if they can’t be mounted. They aren’t even close to going on, and I had no real issues mounting GP5000TL’s which were notoriously difficult. If I can’t get them close at home with all the tools, I’ll never be able to fix a flat on the side of the road.

A had two punctures in a previous tire (same brand and model) so I ordered this one as a replacement. Unfortunately, this tire punctured after 48 miles. For the price, I strongly urge you to go with something else.

Since it is a tubeless tire, I really found it extremely difficult to put on the rim the first time. After letting it stay on the rim, it stretched itself and has been much easier to remove and put back. So those who intend to use inner tubes may use this, save for the initial mounting.The ride is very comfortable since I bought a 32mm tire. It feels very fast as well.
